Hotel Castellon Center Affiliated by Meliá

Hotel Castellón is in a great location, just around the corner from the old city center—within walking distance of all amenities and only 2–3 bus stops from both El Corte Inglés and the train station. The staff are helpful and polite, and the rooms are impressively spacious, with armchairs, a small coffee table, large windows, a big wardrobe, and a small hallway to hang clothes and leave shoes. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped; the modern hairdryer was a much-appreciated touch. The neighborhood is very peaceful, making the stay especially relaxing. What could be improved: adding slippers and a basic kettle and perhaps a bit bigger double bed. Overall, excellent value for money—I would definitely return.

Terrible experience, got locked out my room where my 2 Pomeranians were inside. Went to get a replacement key from reception still didn’t work, went down again and it still didn’t work. Went down yet again Told someone would meet me at the room nobody came. Went down again said wait in the lobby for someone then said go back to the room again and someone will meet me! Still nobody came. My 1 Pomeranian has to have medication administered despite this still no help getting access to the room. Just stay away, Im genuinely annoyed I still have another night here.

Overall very amazing hotel, great rooms, excellent service, and a very good breakfast. Everything felt clean and comfortable. The only downside was the gym. It lacked dumbbells or proper gym equipment, having only treadmills and a few basic machines.

Very friendly personnel, customer service was perfect. Flexible to serve our needs. Good parking garage very close to the hotel for a small extra fee. Only the traffic on the street in the morning (it was a working day) was a bit annoying. All other specs of the rooms were perfect. Open for accompanying pets!

We stayed 4 nights in this lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are very spacious and the breakfast was very good. We had some slight issues with the bar across the road but that was resolved the day after with a personal apology from the hotel manager, which we were very grateful for. Would certainly recommend.

We stayed one night on our way to the south of Spain and we were very impressed about this hotel. We booked a Junior Suite and the room was impeccable, good size, modern design and very comfortable. The breakfast is good, has a good choice and variety. The staff is very professional and friendly. The hotel has a parking which is very convenient (15 €/night). ||Highly recommended!

Very beautiful hotel and service minded staff! Plenty to choose from in the breakfast buffet.||Spacious rooms with minibar in the room as well as AC and safe at no extra cost.||The hotel is also very centrally located but not too noisy to get out if you come by car.||There is a garage under the hotel, parking cannot be booked in advance. The reception opens the garage when you drive down. I wouldnt recommend a SUV going down this garage since it is very tight between floor 1 and 2.||It is also important to be patient because there can be misunderstandings between cars going into the garage and out of the garage.||The cars that are going out of the garage have a green light 2 floors down when it is ok for them to drive.||The cars that are going down have no light they can look at or the ability to see cars coming up so misunderstandings can happen....especially if you come from different countries. So remember to be humble and it will work out if a situation arises where one car is going into the garage and another car is going out.||I think it's quite rare that it happens but still good to be aware of it.
