Hotel Castelo Branco

Fantastic, spacious room. Lovely comfy bed. Looks as though recently redecorated.||Down side - limited breakfast. NO/NADA/ZERO place to eat in the evening. If you don't have transport then you are on your own!

Room is very clean and looks modern. Bathroom is very good with big shower. Room has a samsung TV. Decent cupboard space. Nice curtains to keep the room dark. Friendly reception and the place as a whole looks while maintained.

I love this place! Seems especially welcoming for American guests, as the office space above the hotel's Restaurant Jardin is the city's Peace Corps office. The breakfast buffet is the absolute best. It's free (of course), and open between 6:30 and 9:30am. Rooms are large, and two bottles of water are replaced evdry day.

Hands down, the very best breakfast buffet in all of Mozambique. Makes for a great start to the day. Nothing is missing ... make sure to try the peach juice (which I had never tasted before). Brewed coffee is a highlight, too. The grounds are meticulous, all walls are covered with vines -- you wonder how they do it!

The rooms are clean and have enough water in the fridge. A restaurant with good food and drinks is at the entrance. The hotel environment is safe and has good conference rooms. Parking space is available and guarded

Good hotel with great services, and comfortable rooms. The view at the highest point is very good. Great breakfast but would be completed all this if they had an internal Restaurant with the same standards as the hotel. Enjoyed the gym and a great swimming pool.

Short stay , but I would highly recommend Castelo Branco to anyone spending a few days in this part of Mozambique . Friendly staff , well built , and a variety of room prices/standards . Even the "cheaper" / standard rooms are very decent , beds are extremely comfortable with duvets and decent pillows . Spent two very comfortable nights here . They serve breakfast as well . They also have a decent pool , which unfortunately I did not use , maybe next time.The garden is okay but a little under-used , suppose being the middle of winter I can understand . Highly recommendable and worth a stay .
