Hotel Castrum Villae

The staff here really make the place special and I would go as far to say that they are true ambassadors for their country. They are super helpful and full of useful information to help you explore the area. Nothing is too much trouble for them and out of the many places we have stayed at they score the highest for being kind, helpful and full of local knowledge. The rooms are clean and tidy and equipped with air conditioning which given the heat was a very welcome plus. Overall I highly recommend this place as a comfortable place to stay and explore this beautiful region. My personal score is 10/10 which I don’t award lightly but the team here deserve it

The hotel was full in the reservation but they were nice and give us the posibility to reserve the room for special needs. The room was big and the wc was clean and new. The soundproofing of the walls could be better, and also the hotel was full, but we had the change of having nice silent room neighbors. The breakfast was served at 8am with a lot of choices, lot of different types of bread, fruit and they were always cheeking to refill anything needed. The staff is very polite and tries to help every time they can, even if they are not responsible for it. In our case the lunch and dinner was included and it was served in an restaurant near, with is considered by the locals the best restaurant near by, so it was a goo experience.

Great hotel and staff, rooms are a good size and clean, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was, very good with plenty of choice. There are a few restaurants and vars, within walking distance. Good value for money. Would recommend.

Very quiet, almost rural setting. Attractive building, with a nice common area. The people were very helpful, suggesting a GPS fix for my bike. They took extra care to look out for my bike, too, reminding me when I left my helmet sitting out. Local directions given were helpful. And they are right in the middle of 4 nice cafes, and several good restaurants. Only thing I did not like, the toilet position had your chin hanging over the sink!

The wifi connects, but it doesn't really work. The breakfast doesn't have anything extraordinary and the rooms are ok. I'd rather spend my money on 'alojamento local'

This Hotel is located in such a nice place and it is a pitty. It needs urgent renovation!! Our room was smelly (mold smell) and we had to open the windows constantly. The bed was not confortable at all and general furniture needs renovation. Besides that, breakfast was so weak!

This hotel is perfect for the vacation from the big letter. The area is so ecologically clean. Landscapes are awesome. Service and all the employees are kind and professional. Feels like new born after a visit to this hotel. Recommended!

I was surprised with this hotel.||A few years ago, there weren`t many hotels, with fine prices, and good service.||I payed about 58€ per night, with breakfast. ||It is sheep, and a good value for money.||Probably for the Germans and the English, the price is more than reasonable.||Although, there weren´t a few things, that weren`t so fine.||The air conditioning was off service (just hot air) and at night were about 30ºC.||The Mini Bar was empty !!!||At the the Hotel Bar, we order a black coffee, but the coffee machine was off duty.||But apart of that, is still a good choice, and I believe, next time it won`t happen.
