Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo

Absolutely loved my stay at Catalonia Hotel. My grandparents from Brazil were visiting the country and we needed a good hotel with fantastic customer service. The team at Catalonia Hotel, and people such as Katerine working in the buffet area, made our stay incredibly pleasant and very memorable. Extremely kind, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. I would personally highly recommend anybody looking for a relaxing and safe hotel to come and check Catalonia for themselves. Rooms might need a slight upgrade but there is amazing views of the ocean, hot water, 24hr gym access, beautiful pool with a bar. And most importantly the food was delicious.

The service received by Katerine at the buffet restaurant was very professional and kind. She was very easy to talk to. She always has smile on her face and was very simple and gentle. I and my family strongly recommend Catalonia Santo Domingo and we are very sure that we will come back again.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome, and the overall service was outstanding. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered beautiful ocean views perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of the highlights of my stay was breakfast. The buffet had plenty of fresh and delicious options every morning, but what really made the experience special was the service. Ezequiel, one of the breakfast servers, was exceptional. His attentiveness and friendly personality made my mornings genuinely enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable experience.

I have to say this stay at The Catalonia Hotel Santo Domingo was exceptional. I have to express that my opinion was really brought to an excellent level because of the bar tender Jennifer Casimiro. She was excellent with the guest, her personality was bubbly and fun and very attentive. She was very enthusiastic and funny. Id stay again just to be around her energy. Hotel is amazing and beautiful. Rooms are super clean and the food delicious. There is only one downfall, the front des l employees are not so friendly. They greeted us the first day we checked but after that, the staff always look upset. They no longer greet you after we walk past nor do they smile. The bartender and restaurant staff are very pleasant and make you feel comfortable. Jenifer Casimiro who is the bartender is so cheerful and has great costumer service. I will Come back to this hotel just to sit and enjoy the bar with Jennifer.

Joel is the nicest server ever at first meeting him. I was very nervous talking to him, but he was very warm and made me feel comfortable during my stay and I love talking to him. He’s the best server ever highly recommend go see my friend Joel.

This place was fantastic! Outstanding customer service. Everyone greeted you with a smile! From the front desk Andri who always greeted Everone with a huge smile and great customer service to Jennifer who was always so professional and extremely nice to everyone who I saw her work with. While the storm of Mellisa was outside she took time to talk with each customer and prepared great drinks. The gentleman who worked the door made sure each customer stayed dry as the walk to thier transportation. Great Job Hotel Catolinia. You are now my favorite Place to stay in Santo Domingo!

The location is convenient to El Malecón and we had a great view of the ocean waterfront. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of local favorites and the chef station had eggs made to order in any style. Our servers were nice, especially Erika, who was attentive and always smiled. The staff here are very friendly and helpful kudos to them!
