Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo

I would definitely recommend. Safety is important to me due to my job back home in America, and I can say the area and hotel exceeds the security measures put into place. I saw police officers in trucks riding up and down the streets with blue lights on non stop, I saw police officers drop inside of the hotel and they even hire overnight security to provide extra security. Staff were friendly and very helpful. There were sidewalks near the ocean that allows for walks and morning runs. I'd definitely book this hotel again on my next vacation to the DR!

Excellent service. The staff is kind and friendly. The breakfast is delicious. If you look for great pillows, they have that too. The view is spectacular. Erika and Caroline made my stay even more joyful for their service and professionalism.

This is our second time in this hotel and we have enjoyed our time. Hotel employees are friendly and attentive. Breakfast is delicious and has a wide variety. Ninoska, Carol & Erika took care of us at breakfast and were very polite and sweet. Will come back and definitely recommend.

The Pearl Urban Lounge was the pinnacle of my stay. The ambiance, music and service were exceptional. Ate there late nights because the meals were always mouth watering. Rossibert was exceptional in her service and me not being a spanish speaker was not a language barrier. She was knowledgeable and made me comfortable. Ask for her.

10/10 service. Stefany made our breakfast experience extremely pleasant. she was very attentive and prioritized customer service and care. the ocean view in the breakfast room was beautiful and it was a wonderful way to spend my morning.

From the welcome to departure this hotel exceeded expectations. In the rain my family was met with valet and fresh fruit juice for our party. Filigrana was excellent! My 9 y/o was the driver for eating at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The staff catered to his picky pallette and left him saying "Thud eas the best food!" My only critique was that the mini fridge was locked and although we requested to unlock it, no one ever came (we had food that need refrigerated.) We will definitely return!!!!

The whole experience was fantastic. We were welcomed with a fresh and tasty drink. We were wonderfully helped by the lovely Ana. Hotelstaff was friendly and very helpful |The room was clean, spacious and for a Dutch rather affordable for a 5 star hotel.|Definitely a recommendation for future travels.

This hotels is by far one of the nicest I been, with an espectacular view. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The food is delightful and the service is outstanding Caroline and Stephanie were very polite and attentive to all our needs during breakfast would highly recommend ❤️ Update: I have continued to come for breakfast and today Ninoska was a great help, Ezequiel and Erick also helped and were very attentive.
