I really enjoyed this place. The rooms are spread out over a decent sized area of the jungle. I was in one of the newer, stand-alone rooms, basically a tiny villa and it was great. Very quiet at night. Pool area is inviting. You're basically in the jungle and there are paths you can walk that take you further into the bush - great for night walking or even just trekking around during the day. Lots of birds and ground critters. In fact, as part of small tour group, one of our tour night walks started and ended at the hotel.||Staff was pleasant. Breakfast basic but made fresh. Not much in the vicinity, a couple small restaurants - just pay attention to their business hours.

The rooms are very basic with no furniture but the bed and a night stand. No place to hang the clothes or even towels. Not a single hook in this place. Where did they suppose we should put the clothes? On the floor? 😔We came here on my birthday, December 21st 2024 with the Intrepid group. I was very disappointed. In the picture you can see the hair dryer they gave me when I asked them for one.

Lovely stay in the jungle!|We stayed 2 nights in the bungalow. The room was comfortable. We had an issue with our hot water which was resolved quickly. |Breakfast was good too. There is a restaurant nearby which is open from 8-8pm everyday.|We chose this hotel for it location as it was 4 minutes away (drive) from Rio Celeste. |We managed to see monkeys and a sloth on the grounds. Do not forget your deet and remember you are in the jungle so expect a few insects!|The staff are great and highly recommend!

We highly recommend this hotel. It was a pleasant stay here. The bungalows are neat, surrounded by nature and with plenty of room specially the shower and tub. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We just had trouble getting a strong Wi-Fi signal in the bungalow. The gardens are beautiful and if you are lucky enough you can watch different types of birds, monkeys and even tapirs. Moreover, the restaurant run by the family is great and fairly priced.

Stayed here as part of an organised tour. ||We loved our stay here! We were in the bottom bungalows which were clean and spacious. We had our own private garden which we often saw Toucans in which meant we had some great pictures and videos. ||The room had a double bed and a single bed in, No air con, but I don’t think we needed it. Bathroom was clean and had a jacuzzi bath in, which i did try out! ||Wi-Fi was great as each bungalow seemed to have their own router in the room. ||Breakfast was one of the best pancakes I have ever tasted! A huge thick soft pancake with syrup! Was gorgeous! ||The only downside is the hotel is quite isolated so there isn’t much around it apart from 2 restaurants which can be quite pricey, but this isn’t a negative of the hotel

We stayed in standard room 2 which was so basic. (I read reviews of bungalows and sounds like a different hotel). There was a double bed and a single in room 2. The bathroom was also very primitive. We booked For 1 night as the location was close to the Rio celeste waterfall. |We arrived in the afternoon, drove,5 minutes to the “free pool” of Rio celeste and swam in the turquoise water. The next morning we drove 8 minutes to tenorio national park to hike to,the Rio celeste waterfall. ||The rooms are eh but the grounds are beautifully with trees, and wonderful flowers. There is also a nice pool ||Breakfast was included and was fine. The staff found a flashlight that we forgot and put it with our luggage, which we left at reception while we hiked. Staff was very nice and friendly.

It's a really nice place to stay after a crazy adventure, because it's quiet, clean and nice. The breakfast next day is tasty (4.5 stars), we didn't try the pools but they have. The gardens and the privacy it's really good. The only thing that we didn't like was that we rent a cabin with a Jacuzzi but it didn't work.

Probably the best hotel gardens we came across in our 2 week stay in Costa Rica. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the main Rio Celeste car park. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. It is not a 5 star hotel however the small cabins are perfectly adequate for a short stay and have their own private verandas overlooking the gardens and each has a hammock. The gardens are a tropical paradise full of birds during the day, frogs at night and in the early morning it is most likely that you will see a troupe of Capuchin monkeys. We saw 2 different species of toucans, numerous frogs and a 3 toed sloth. There is no one who speaks English however we got by with a small amount of French and Spanish. Breakfast was continental or cooked to order. There is no facilities for an evening meal however there is a family run restaurant next to the entrance where we ate for our 2 night stay and the food was very good and reasonably priced. This hotel in my view is good value especially when you take into account its tropical setting.
