We wanted to check out the famous 'Río Celeste' and found this hotel super close, just a 16-minute walk to the free swimming spot in the river. The service was awesome! Veronica at the front desk was a huge help, always giving us tips for a great time.
Since it's a bit out of the way, no Uber Eats here. But there are a few restaurants nearby, like Tenory, which has amazing Costa Rican food. Plus, the front desk gave us numbers for local stores and delivery if we needed anything from the market.
The hotel also has some harmless wild animals, making it feel like you're really in nature. We even saw a 'tepescuincle'! Never seen one of those before!
They also offer some tours to make your trip even better. We picked the horseback ride, which took us to a natural pool where you can actually get into the Celeste River. There's a pigment in there that makes the water look this cool cloudy light-blue, Hence we wanted to see this phenomenon in real life.
