Hotel Catedral .

The hotel was excellent! Everyone was very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and a great size. I was there for both work and business. The room worked really well for calls, and meetings. The wifi was very stable and a good speed. The location is great is you want to be able to see the historic center, and there are a lot of great restaurants around.

Very nice hotel centrally located in the historic district. Room was nice and clean with a lovely little patio overlooking the city. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a nice breakfast buffet which is free the first morning of your stay. Price was read too. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting CDMX.

We arrived last night and have enjoyed our stay so far. The hotel is wonderfully located, the staff has been friendly, and our room looks clean and well-maintained. However, I wanted to bring one issue to your attention regarding the towels in our room. When I went to shower and grabbed a towel, it felt more like a rag than a hotel-quality towel. Several of the towels had strands hanging from the sides, which gave the impression that they were quite worn out. It wasn’t just one towel—unfortunately, all the towels in our room were the same. While I understand that the towels may not need to be plush, the overall quality left much to be desired, and it wasn’t the most comfortable experience to dry off with towels that seemed more like cleaning rags than something expected from a hotel. I would highly recommend considering an upgrade to the towels in your hotel budget. Better quality towels could significantly enhance the guest experience and would align with the otherwise great standard of the hotel. Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback. Hotel Catedral is a great place to stay, right in the heart of the Centro, a block or so from the Zocalo and close to the Zocalo Metro station. It is an excellent hotel at a great price. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They even had cookies and chips for arrivals and gave us each a bottle of water. There were 2 bottles of water also in our room, as well as coffee and a couple of chocolates. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The room had a balcony with a great view of the city. I have no complaints. Everything was great. I will stay there again on future visits to Mexico City.

This hotel was wonderful. Staff was extremely accommodating and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and worth the price with a dining area that overlooks pyramid ruins! The location is prime with many world-class attractions within walking distance. Bottled water is provided.

Love this hotel! A friend had recommended to me and she was 100%. Perfect location! I love the view from 5th floor overlooking Cathedral. The breakfast we booked with our stay was amazing. Made to order omelets, cappuccino, a variety of fruits, cheese, cereals and healthy freshly made juice. Our room was so clean, the bed and bedding luxurious. We stayed in the new tower and my son in the original tower which he also loved as he had a balcony with a view.

Hotel Cathedral is where I stayed 22 years ago. Happy with the convenience of being a few yards from a historical cathedral and a host of other attractions is what brought me back. My wife had not been to Mexico City so familiarity for me was key. What was a complete and shocking change was the new tower with modern rooms. The tower itself is built atop the Pyramid of the God of the Wind. It's beautiful and seen in part through a glass floor. Another view is open air both from the breakfast dining area and the new wing lobby. There are other ruins nearby, countless food options, some with rooftop views and art galore. The best for last is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. At any hint of an issue, prompt attention was given. We were thrilled. A special Thank You! to Francisco!!

Excellent service with a great location! Great service was had here. The staff was on top of their game at every minute. They were most accommodating and each member made sure all of your questions were answered. Please keep in mind their are entrances to the hotel, a new modern entrance and the previous one which is the original one. I will stay here again.
