Hotel Cecil Metz Gare

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. The highlight of my visit was the receptionist, Lisi, who was absolutely lovely. She greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, excellent service, and friendly staff!

It is shit the aircondition doesnt work the bathroom is bigger than the Room and the door to the bathroom didnt have a handle and the breakfast was shit and the Room was dirty

Location is good and room size ok. However we faced 2 basic problems which any competent hotel would avoid when preparing rooms for their guests - all the toilet soap/shampoo dispensers were virtually empty and didn’t work, with staff unable to fix it. Also one of the beds didn’t have enough bedding on it, exposing the mattress.

The room is dirty, moldy and damp. The breakfast is poor. no wifi. not recommended

Very friendly receptionist speaking very good English. Small dusty room with dirty bedsheets and dirty bathroom floor. Very old fashioned room locking system, having to return the key every time you leave the hotel. Private parking safe and good at a reasonable price of 10€. Breakfast very basic and limited but okay food, no cheese no ham no chicken. Paying way too much for what you get.

Poor location with rooms la lacking of mantenance: no door on baathroom, no black curtains on window, no lamp on bed, partially brooken and useless light curtains both on window and on shawer, mooving water inlet on washbecker. Poor breakfast. Nice location. No parking, but train station parking at 100 m. Price too high in comparison to absolutely poor quality offered. NOT recomended

Given the fact my Airbnb did not work out due to a late train arrival, I was grateful that this hotel was open. When viewing the price, I thought it would be a dump. To the contrary, this is by far the cleanest hotel I have ever seen, and I've been to some very expensive hotels that were filthy. In addition, my French is not very strong, especially at 1:00am in the morning, but the gentleman at the front desk managed some English and we understood each eachother. Glad I got to stay.

The bed was comfortable. Rooms needs serious renovation. Wifi... I had to ask to change room to have coverage. The hotel is in a very poor condition and dors not comply to a 3 stars rating. The price for a room was quite high. I regret I book that hotel.
