To cap our 18-day Italy trip, we chose to stay in this lovely boutique hotel in Rome, which turned out to be one of the most memorable stays of our journey.
This classicaly designed hotel was spotlessly clean, beautiful, and filled with fresh flowers, which made the entire place fragrant and gave it such a warm atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed, and the bed mattress was the best we slept on during our entire Italy trip (We're curious about the brand!) The bathroom’s whirlpool tub was also perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
The generous breakfast spread was excellent, with a wide variety of pastries, meats, and cheeses. We were served fresh cappuccinos every morning too. Service was outstanding as they served us a complementary bottle of wine for our anniversary, helped with restaurant reservations, and were happy to keep our luggage after checkout so we could pick it up later before heading to the airport. Mel, in particular, was attentive, kind, and helpful as he stood out among the staff that we got in touch with before and during our stay.
The location is also perfect: The hotel is within walking distance from Roma Termini station and just a stone's throw away from Repubblica metro station and a number of nearby bus stops, making it convenient and easy to get around the city.
Hotel Cellini was recommended by Rick Steves in his Italy and Rome guidebooks, and I’m so glad we chose it among others. We would love to stay here again someday!
