Super cute mid range hotel (for Tokyo) located in the heart of Shinjuku Korea Town. You are about 5 mins walking to a train station and 15-20 min walk to the main Shinjuku station. The hotel is hidden in a small alleyway with 4-5 Korean restaurants with one right outside the gates of the hotel. If you walk about 7 mins, you have tons of mostly Korean food options but Japanese and street food vendors as well. You'll have to walk about 10-15 mins for tons of Japanese food options. The rooms are EXTREMELY small! One solution is to push your luggage under the bed for more space. Harajuku is one stop away and then steps away to shibuya. The closest main attraction is the amazing Meiji temple one train stop away. It's about 1.50$ by train or 23$ by taxi - we did both. A combini or convenience store is 5 mins walking. Recommend getting the curry pan or curry bread for a hot snack - you won't regret it. The hotel has a small coffee shop attached but a bit pricy - you can walk 3 mins to a small cute Korean coffee shop instead. Overall, although somewhat cramped, a good location. If you walk about 15-20 mins going left from the main road, you can get an excellent foot, head or body massage for about 29 USD for 30 mins or 55 $ for an hour - trust me when I say you'll walk about 15-20000 steps a day! Overall, a nice choice
