Hôtel Central Avignon

Room was clean and well sized, but the heat pump/AC unit was decidedly lackluster so we needed to sleep with the windows open. Thankfully our windows opened into the pretty internal courtyard so noise wasn't an issue. Great location very close to the train station, and they have a small cocktail bar adjoined to the hotel. Front desk staff were cordial but seemed a little disinterested

Its brilliantly located between the station and the Palace of the Popes. There is a bar but there are also loads of restaurants in the area. We were in 246 - a big bedroom with excellent lift to it. Clean and well-cleaned. Coffee and kettle which can be unusual in France. Really helpful staff. Large choice breakfast if a bit expensive at 14 Euro. Nice sitting out area in the grounds where it was good to chill over a drink. Ticked all our boxes!!

Nice hotel, but it is closed in the winter season at Hotel Central. I stayed réniga Hotel about 5 mins walk. This hotel is clean, best location, and a friendly hotel. Avignon is a small town and comfortable to stay in

We had a lovely stay at Central Hotel in Avignon. The staff were very nice and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and daily housekeeping was a great bonus. The hotel was spotlessly clean and in an excellent location—just a short walk from the main train station. Highly recommended!

We had a very unfortunate experience at this hotel and I would recommend not staying here. We walked into our rooms and noticed significant mould and dirt, attached. We left and they refused to offer us a refund or alternative accommodation and it's been over a week since they last responded refusing a refund. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere :( - there are a number of other nice hotels in Avignon

After a long train journey from Germany, arrived in Avignon. It was a sultry night and upon arrival at the room was happy to find that it had air conditioning. It was situated at the top with a little outdoor terrace. Room was uniquely decorated and was clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a roomy walk in shower. The hotel is perfectly situated, a 5 minute walk to the station and a short walk to the Palais Des Papes. Thoroughly recommend and would stay again if I return to Avignon again. Didn’t sample the breakfast but looked adequate enough.
