My family of three stayed in Hotel Central for our first visit to Crans-Montana for skiing the week of New Years. The location was super - just a short walk to the escalator to the Arnouva ski lift (or bus stop to go to other lifts) and many wonderful restaurants and two grocery stores. The hotel, while small, has very welcoming staff who were very helpful answering questions throughout our stay about navigating trains, buses, etc and helping us make dinner reservations (needed pretty much anywhere, which we didn’t realize before our arrival). There is a ski storage room which we appreciated so we didn’t have to keep our equipment in our room. The beds were very comfortable and it was great having a small fridge to store things in occasionally. We did pay for breakfast, and it was nice not to have to go outside the hotel for simple, healthy breakfast in the morning, but between the grocery stores and cafes nearby, there are plenty of other options too. We enjoyed the small bar in the evening, especially the hot wine and hot chocolate. The only amenity we didn’t use was the spa - it was small and the one time we tried to use the sauna, it was in use and others were waiting. We highly recommend this hotel.
