Hotel Central

We stayed for 2 nights here during our recent trip to Zagreb. The hotel is centrally located, next to the main railway station and bus station. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood in the vicinity of a park and some historical buildings. The Ban Josef Jelacic Square which is the heart of the historical town is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. |The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. The room was very functional, with no fancy decor or furnishing. The bed was very comfortable. |There was no kettle in the room and that was a major irritant as we both love our coffee the very first thing in the morning. The breakfast was a good spread - nothing special about it but the service started early by 6.30am and met our expectations. |This hotel is a good choice if you are considering a 3-star option that is conveniently located with comfortable stay.

The great thing about this hotel is definitely the location. Especially if you are traveling by train. You are literally opposite the Zagreb main station. The rooms are quite large and spacious. The beds are not the most comfortable models but if you only stay for one or two nights it is okay. The staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast is veruy good to my taste.

I stayed at the Hotel Central for three nights, travelled for three weeks, then came back for two nights. Thank you so much to the kind man on the reception desk the first time I arrived in Zagreb. He let me check in to my room at 11am when I thought I would have to leave my bags and come back later.|The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly and filled my water bottle for me.|There was a really good selection of hot and gold foods available at breakfast, either yoghurts, cereal, fruit and a selection of croissants and pastries too. |There are two computers there for guests to use, and you can print documents if you need to.|When I returned the second time, the man on the reception desk remembered me and made a joke about me knowing where everything is!|Opposite the station, 10 mins walk to the bus station and 15 mins walk into the old town.

My wife and I booked the hotel from Australia on booking.com , because of its proximity to the train station. That was a positive. The hotel include breakfast which was fresh and routinely topped up. So these are pluses. We inadvertently booked a twin room, but the on line booking for the room was confusing. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. ||We asked for a change to a double but they said the hotels was full. Ok. However, The room was stuffy and the single beds were extremely uncomfortable and were in need of replacement. Likewise, the pillows. So on balance, I wouldn’t go back and would would spend a bit more a locate to tue lower and upper township

The location of the hotel is central and this is a very old hotel in Zagreb. The hotel reflects the age but I will say that it’s decently well maintained. ||The breakfast was good and the options of dining nearby are plenty many, including a nice Indian restaurant ||Overall a decent choice for short stay in Zagreb

I stayed here for two nights. First,  the location is very good,  just in front of the central train station and a tram stop. The room was not spacious nor splendid but clean and comfortable enough. I liked the bed, pillow, and sheets. The breakfast was quite satisfactory. I could find some good restaurants nearby. The unhappy points are: Really slow WiFi. No coffee pot in the room.

My second time to stay here and it’s always been an amazing one! Tibor has been very helpful and did an excellent job arranging my advance booking to my favorite room, all staff are friendly and very clear with hotels policy and procedures, breakfast buffet was sumptuous, and their service are amazing, would definitely come back again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, good location opposite the train station and had a great selection of breakfast food. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dropping a star because the WiFi connection in the room was non-existent
