Hotel Cervantes

We stayed here on our way back from Portugal and so glad we did. Lovely small hotel in the heart of Zafra !! Our room was spacious and very clean, a bonus was an air conditioner. It is located very near the old town and only minutes from great bars and restaurants. Parking was right outside the front door. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel !!

We only stayed one night in Hotel Cervantes as we were just passing through. The hotel is easy to find, right by the highway. It is also close to the "downtown" area of Zafra - an easy walk. It appears there are some restaurants etc., in the immediate vicinity. ||||Check-in was easy - we had prebooked. The room was inexpensive. The reception area is OK, somewhat dated. The hallways are long and dark (lights come on when you enter the area).||||The room was a good size with an adequate bathroom and lots of blankets. The room faced the inner courtyard so you would have to close drapes if someone was across the courtyard from you. The beds were comfortable, maybe a bit hard. The room was heated.||||There is not a lot of traffic in the immediate vicinity so I think even the from rooms would be fairly quiet.||||Initially we had to park about half a block away but by the end of the day there was parking available right in front of the hotel. There is a small restaurant / bar next door for breakfast.||||All in all it was a reasonable stay.

This hotel is located very close to the centre, a few minutes to the main square. The hotel is newly refurbished and looks very new and clean. The rooms are of decent size, bathrooms well equipped and everything is very clean. The only downside is rather hard mattress and not very comfortable pillow. There is free parking infront of the hotel. ||To conclude, this hotel offers very good accommodation for very reasonable price. Although it is only two stars, comparing it with other two star hotel, Hotel Cervantes offers three star accommodation.

We were staying in Zafra for only one night and arrived early in the pouring rain. The receptionist looked after our bags whilst we had breakfast and found our bearings...there was genuinely no pressure to take the room if we were not very happy with it. We did stay and the same member of staff ran to her car (in the rain) to lend us her own umbrella to save us getting wet again...so very kind.||The room was comfortable: well located and I would recommend it to other travellers.

Local hotel a little old fashioned but good. We were lucky to get parking out the from of the hotel which was great and no charge! Close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere. It is a very small town, not much English spoken but very friendly.

Spaceous room, restroom ok, parking in front of the hotel and elevator. Nice welcome desk. Obtain what you pay for. Would repeat
