Hotel Cervetta 5

We had a very wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Very ideal location as it is just in the middle of the city center. A few steps away from the Mercato and Plaza Grande. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the room was very aesthetically pleasing and clean. A heads up though, they don’t have a lift so expect to carry your luggage up the stairs. But it wasn’t really an issue for us, just thought of mentioning it.

This was our second visit to this charming small hotel in the heart of old Modena. Since our last visit, rather a few years ago, the style has changed to fashionable shabby chic. Not really our style, but all beautifully done with everything of the highest quality. Really great bed and bedding - so comfortable. And such a large room too, with every conceivable facility. |Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff who are on duty 24 hours. The garaging is brilliant and we were frequently in and out to get things from the car, which was no trouble at all |Last time we discovered that satnav does not always work that well in the narrow streets, and guests’ permission to drive in the centre of the city is limited to just one route. The hotel now give very clear instructions for entrance and exit, which was a great help. |Can more than recommend staying here if visiting lively Modena. There are, too, many good restaurants very close by - just a few steps away in some cases.

Charming hotel with wonderful staff and an incredible location right in the centre of Modena. We had a lovely stay here, the staff were so kind and recommend the breakfast which has everything you need to start your day in Modena!

We were in Modena for two nights at this hotel. The lobby smells very nice upon entry. There are many small decorating items in the lobby and in the rooms. Must be a nightmare to dust all these little decorative touches. We had two rooms one double and single. The rooms were very small. The bathrooms are tiny. Everything was clean, the linens, the towels. Hotel is well located. We would stay there again.

Comfortable, cozy and clean room. Lovely decor throughout lobby and room. The bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. The shower was big, great water pressure and temperature - the best we’ve had in Italy in almost two weeks of travel. The staff are absolutely wonderful and super cordial and helpful. They stored our luggage, took it to our room while we were walking around the town and having lunch, they made reservations for us and made recommendations on where to go. The location was perfect right in the historical center of Modena. we highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again in the future.

Perfect hotel for central Modena everything was in walking distance. Rooms are clean if more basic than we are used to but for our stay was perfect. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they sorted our airport transfers, made excellent recommendations for dinner and explained how to get to the various locations we were trying to find. Breakfast was ok and plenty of it. We’re used to having water, tea coffee facilities in the room. But you had to go to reception if you wanted a drink. If we go back to Modena would stay here without hesitation.

Perfectly located in the center of Modena and with a secure parking next door (which is a luxury in town).||Very cozy and super clean small hotel. Beds and linen are of good quality. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. They provided detailed information on how to reach the hotel as there were some road works in the town center. |The hotel was recently renovated and they chose a minimalistic decoration which we appreciate. As we use to say…. “Sometimes less is more”||It totally deserves 4 ⭐️. ||The only hiccup was the shower which didn’t have enough pressure. Otherwise everything was okay and we had a good sleep. We were lucky not to have noisy neighbors during the night; the walls are not soundproof.

Very good hotel. The room I had was simple but very pleasant and clean. Breakfast was lovely with care for small details, and fantastic service. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location.
