"Set right at the entrance to the picturesque historic district, this family-run hotel strikes a pleasing balance between old and new — rooms have modern fittings, but exposed stone walls are a reminder that you’re in a medieval village. Many rooms have astounding views — even from the bathrooms." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Our stay at Hotel Cesare was amazing. First of all the location is absolutely amazing. It's only 1 minute walk from their designated parking which costs 6 euros for 24 hours. The staff very kind and hospitable. The whole hotel feels like a medieval castle, very rustic and cosy. Our room was great, lots of storage, comfy beds and the star of the show the balcony overlooking the whole valley and village. The breakfast was fabulous. The only downside was the shower was too small.

The location is fantastic and it is beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason why I rated low is because 1) the sound proof is close to nothing. I hear all conversations from the room next to mine. Also there was an event outside those musics you hear until 00:30. Hard to sleep with this. 2) many insects I found in the room and also in the steps. It gives a sense of none clean. It’s not cockroach but similar one and maybe longer and many legs compared to cockroaches.
If you don’t mind those this hotel is fantastic.

My first time ever in this tiny country, I could not figure out where to stay in San Marino, so many mixed reviews. Picked here at the end as a lot of the bad reviews seem to be about the restaurant! Was afraid a single room would be too small but it was just fine, large bathroom and a full bed, not a tiny twin. Had a window on the street and a large shared outdoor space across from my room. Many bigger rooms have their own balconies. Breakfast was included and pretty good, eggs and bacon even. The walls are definitely thin and I could hear my neighbors having loud sex but I don't really care! Hopefully a good review to help you decide too 😊

Hotel is well located in San Marino ! Staff is nice ! Rooms are ok with a/c we had a blue one With a big terrace and view. Bed is ok, breakfast buffet is large and good. Shower is maybe too small for the room ! Otherwise very good experience ! You can park at P6

Lovely hotel, perfect location, great staff, beautiful view of San Marino from room and terrace. Close to all attractions in San Marino, no parking but car park was close by. Room was clean and comfy, good air conditioning, breakfast was basic but good.

Very noisy, but the location is perfect. I recommend using lot 7 for parking, as 6 was full while I was there and 7 has bigger spaces.

What a great central location , the hotel is perched at the top of the old town and the views are amazing. The room was well appointed and had all the amenities that you need. The air conditioning was not great, but I think was as its not the ' summer season' but I opened the window which was great for fresh air. We were lucky to get two rooms on the first floor , where there is also a small terrace where we enjoyed wine bought from across the street for sundowners. The staff were great, breakfast was OK with hot and cold choices, juices and hot drinks.

Can only speak for the restaurant, but it was amazing, I don’t know what the other reviews are on about. The strozzapreti I ordered were absolutely amazing, and the fish and chicken my friends got was also really good. The panna cotta was equally appealing. Prices were not that high compared to nearby locations such as Rimini.
