Hotel Cetina Murcia

The location of the hotel is fantastic so it makes a great base to visit the main city attractions as well as being a short 15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. It is also quiet enough to get a decent sleep - Friday and Saturday was a little busier with lots of celebrations in local restaurants, but not a problem. The staff are all excellent. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, compact but comfortable with the added bonus of a kettle, coffee maker and mini fridge. Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Shower was good and the toiletries provided were also decent. Minimal furniture in the bedroom as probably most people stay short term, but the bar area has comfy chairs and you can leave luggage with reception after checkout if flight is late, which is very helpful. There was a welcome drink as an added bonus. All in all a very good experience.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff especially Yani on reception who was very helpful with map and directions, when we had a problem with the coffee machine she came straight to the room checked the machine and brought a new one for us. She also helped out when we first arrived and couldn't find the bathroom light switch (it was behind the bed pillows) 😂 She always was polite and with a genuine happy smile a credit to the hotel. Also the young lady behind the bar was very good happy to talk, smiling and made us feel very welcome. Rooms clean and functional all you need in a city hotel.|Would definitely stay again when we visit Murcia.

Just had an amazing stay at Hotel Cetina in Murcia! ⭐️ The check-in process was super smooth, and the staff welcomed us with big smiles. Our room was not only well-equipped but also super cozy. It included hairdryer and hair straighteners which is not common in most hotels as well as toiletries. Everything was spotless, from the room to the common areas. Honestly, the service exceeded all my expectations. Location was in the centre of Murcia next to the cathedral and several bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and others only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend! 🏨✨

Excellent visit from start to finish, all the staff were very helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was one of the best I have experienced in Spain. The hotel is centrally located near the cathedral.

The physical environment of the hotel is good. Very clean and comfortable whether in the bar seats or the beds. The room was compact but perfectly adequate and - unusually for Spain - provided a kettle and English Tea. Very pleased about that. The check-in was quick and the two girls on reception were lovely and helpful. |The rainfall shower was excellent and an abundance of toiletries and towels were provided as was a hair dryer and curling tongs. |The hotel provides guests with a complimentary cocktail. That was the first disappointment. It lacked any discernible alcohol thus making it unpleasantly sweet. Larios Gin is cheap. There is no reason to be so miserable with the amount provided in the cocktail. |The bar assistant assured us that if we wanted another drink (she was closing up when we came back after dinner) that the person on reception would facilitate us. We asked at reception for a round of 4 drinks at 23:10. We got a point blank refusal. |Breakfast was a big disappointment. The cooked items were only tepid and some actually just room temperature. They were not replenished often enough or speedily enough. All four of us had to make do with scraps of bacon and dried out scrambled eggs. A simple request for a fried egg was bluntly refused. |The staff assigned to the breakfast room spent most of their time out of sight. They were not available to offer assistance with operating the grill or coffee machine. |Although English Tea was available there was no boiling water provided - there was no staff member to be seen who might have been able to provide boiling water. |The breakfast experience left us all feeling disappointed. We decided that we would stay at this hotel again but will pay for breakfast elsewhere. Their’s is not worth the extra money.

Excellent location across the square from the Cathedral and next to the casino.|All the staff are friendly and helpful, the excellent receptionist gave us some great recommendations for dinner in Murcia.|Quality breakfast plus tea and coffee making facilities in the room. |Room was well quiet, well equipped and spotlessly clean with good blackout curtains. Beds were also very comfortable.|Highly recommended it and I don’t understand why it’s not classed a 4 star hotel which is what it is ??

Excellent location and room was a great size, not much noise outside despite being so centrally located. The problem was the walls between rooms were so thin I could hear the neighbours thinking, which woke us multiple times. The hotel was pretty empty but we still has people in the rooms on either side.

Had a wonderful stay at Cetina Murcia. Stayed in a nice clean room with a terrace with sunlight in the morning perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning with a view. The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of the city. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travellers.

Hotel Cetina is right in the center of Murcia & I'm walking distance to most sites. The hotel itself is nice, especially for the price point. They offered a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival that I had in the small lobby bar. The staff is very friendly & the hotel is very clean. Air conditioning was amazing, especially in the high heat.

Cute, well designed boutique hotel in the center of Murcia a 1-min walk from the Cathedral and other highlights as well as restaurants and shops. Open since Feb 2016 and highly recommended.
