Hotel Chagall

This is a modern business type hotel in a very central location and we had nothing to complain about. Our room was nice with an appropriate bathroom. It was clean an quiet. Wifi worked good, not lightning fast, though. Breakfast was OK, staff was friendly. They would even get me a real coffee from the downstairs café.

Just around the corner of the main square and shopes, this hotel is very well located. It has a garage, free of charge and good wifi. The rooms are big, well decorated and huge bed. The showers are great and the bathroom has everything you need. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was good with a good price. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, cereals cakes and bread. They good have real coffe, not juts nescafe. It isa very good hotel.

My friends and I stayed here for five nights in total, at various times between Mountaineering trips to above 6000 metres. This hotel offered total luxury and is ideally situated near the central plaza. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean, spacious and had a good air con unit (however, the WiFi in some rooms is hopeless). Both breakfasts and dinners were substantial and very tasty, ideal for hungry mountaineers. All staff were polite and efficient and reception staff had superb English. And the price was very reasonable too, considering Sterling is rather weak against the Chilean Peso. If you visit, you absolutely must have coffee and cake in the delightful cafe next to the hotel.

Located just in the center of the city, the decor is inspired by the paintings of Chagall. The rooms are very comfortable, big, they inspire calm and tranquility. The bathrooms are well equiped and very clean. The garage is free of charge. The wifi is good. ||The room service is very good. I only had a problem at the restaurant: they offered me a meal listed on the menu and not available, they tried to replace it with another without warning me.

Just off the main Plaza this is a good spot for hanging out in central Copiapo. Not really a tourist hotel and not a lot of English spoken but pleasant staff nonetheless. Rooms are spacious reasonably clean although a little 'worn'. Bathrooms rather poorly lit and they had forgotten to renew the soaps/shampoos the first time I stayed here. Breakfast is fairly primitive but OK. Handy basement parking next door.

Friendly staff, spacious room, big windows, good heating, great bed, warm shower, free parking, big lobby, quiet, a delight after many nights in simpler accommodation. Breakfast is below par, though, and Wifi slow and signal bad in places. |Nonetheless we extended our stay from one to four nights to explore the Laguna Santa Rosa N.P., the local museum, the Cerro Medanoso big dune and the San Jose mine, where 33 miners where rescued with the Fenix2 capsule after a two | month mission on Oct, 13 2010.

The hotel lobby was nice, but the rooms were stuffy, without AC and very noisy right on the street. While they had free breakfast we left as early as possible. It wasn't until we checked out that we found a much nicer hotel a block away.

Excellent hotel with good bar and restaurant. Secure free underground parking... make sure reception stamps your ticket. Good sized rooms and bathroom. Good value for a stay in Copiapo
