Hotel Chalet Swiss

This is a very good hotel with excellent views. The facilities are well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the fantastic water pressure and stable hot water supply in the shower. The breakfast was also very rich and enjoyable—I particularly loved the colorful eggs! The only minor drawback was that the heating was insufficient, making the room quite cold at night.

Nice boutique hotel. Walking distance around 8 mins from Interlaken East Station. They have a connecting bus too. Their breakfast area is unique and located the front of the hotel. Rooms are located behind the main building. Staffs are super friendly and they will advise you where to visit and show you the webcam from their computer on the latest weather condition of Harder Kulm, Grindelwald and etc

A basic hotel in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk from Interlaken West. On arrival, the male receptionist was very helpful and continued to be so during the course of our stay. Our bedroom was in the annex. All clean, but the bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade. The breakfast was adequate, however the only cooked item on offer was scrambled egg. The fruit salad was tinned. When coming to clear the tables, the waitress used a brush and proceeded to sweep all the crumbs on to the chairs!!

This is an antique hotel with Swiss traditional decorations. Every direction is very clear and accurate. Swiss! It is sparkling clean. The services is comparable to the 5-star hotel. The breakfast lets me taste the local style Swiss food, not just the traditional hotel style.The fresh air here is the natural air-conditioner. Should not have any air-conditioner which destroys the tradition here.If you are planning to have the Swiss style trip, this hotel offers you the taste!

A charming and beautiful hotel, very well maintained, set in a traditional building. We received a room facing the mountains with a breathtaking view, and I captured the stunning sunrise right from our window. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. The reception staff were wonderful, and the breakfast was tasty and satisfying

Our stay at the hotel chalet Swiss was lovely. Evo was our hotel attendant and he was awesome. He provided us with clear instructions on how to move about the city and had great recommendations for activities while we were there. He was amazing and was so incredibly helpful. The hotel was close to the train station and to several chocolate shops. The only issue we ran into was that there was a window overlooking the other rooms adjacent to ours in our bathroom, and that was the only source of ventilation. There is no air conditioning at this spot so we had a bit of a soggy bathroom and we slept hot. Having the windows open at night helped but there was no bug screen either so we had to pick our battles on this one. Overall great experience and great service.

It was a great experience. We spend 2 nights here. They have breakfast buffet at 7:30 that included eggs (which I love the design of the boiled eggs), bread, variety of delicious cheese, yogurt and cereal, etc. it was good. They have sauna but I didn't have time to use it. The people where very polite and nice, the receptionist gave us instructions on how to move and gave us a guest card that allowed us to use free transportation in Interlaken, showing us the areas that will cover our pass. The room was clean and a beautiful view from the balcony. It has a kettle, coffee and glasses. I really like that they have a small kitchen for you to use, where you can find a microwave and disposable plates, very useful if you bring your own food bought at the supermarket for dinner. The hotel is located in Interlaken west, 10min walk from the train station. 8 min walk to Coop supermarket in the same direction as the train station. From Interlaken west to Interlaken Ost was 3min ride in train.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with breakfast included. The location is great—just a 5–10 minute walk to Interlaken West station. There’s a Coop supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants around the area. Although the hotel is a bit old, it has a charming Swiss-style atmosphere and is comfortable enough for a stay. The breakfast was very good—ham, omelets, boiled eggs, and delicious pastries. Overall, I found the price reasonable for what was offered. I would definitely consider staying here again if I return to Interlaken.

This would be our second visit to the Hotel Swiss Chalet, our first time was 15 years ago. This time we brought a group of 41 friends with us and no one was disappointed. This family owned Hotel was just as we left it only with new mattresses and Duvets. We wanted the "Chalet" feel travelling from USA to Switzerland and this little hotel does not disappoint. Friendly family service, Clean rooms, a decent breakfast in the morning (included) and an "anything we can do for you" attitude. Thank you!
