Hotel Chalet Swiss

We had a great experience while our stay at the hotel. The room was really cozy and had that distinct Swiss chalet infrastructure. Location is excellent. The hotel is conveniently placed in Interlaken west near the city centre. All kinds of items are available at roughly 5 mins walk. Great view of the mountains from the room window. Staff was welcoming and nice. The only thing I could point to improve is the breakfast. We had pretty cold breakfast 4 days. Were lucky enough to get some hot one on our 5th day. The fruit included in the breakfast could use some improvement as well (diced fruit), as it was pretty mushy. Other than that nothing to point out. Will definitely come back again. Thanks to all the lovely staff.

I think this hotel is one of the best deals you can get. Despite the season, the rooms were rationally priced compared to other hotels of similar quality and it included breakfast. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room is old, but well maintained. The location is a little off the main area, but not so far off that it isn't walkable. I would certainly stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel. Walking distance around 8 mins from Interlaken East Station. They have a connecting bus too. Their breakfast area is unique and located the front of the hotel. Rooms are located behind the main building. Staffs are super friendly and they will advise you where to visit and show you the webcam from their computer on the latest weather condition of Harder Kulm, Grindelwald and etc

Location is great, not far from interlaken west. Food was also nice but limited but quite delicious. Everything was clean and well maintained however the hotel is a bit old and noises can be heard from above if youre staying at the bottom floor

I stay in this hotel for 3 nights and I quite enjoyed with my stay. Staff of the hotel were generally friendly, not all. The lady checked us in at night was really nice. So overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

This is an antique hotel with Swiss traditional decorations. Every direction is very clear and accurate. Swiss! It is sparkling clean. The services is comparable to the 5-star hotel. The breakfast lets me taste the local style Swiss food, not just the traditional hotel style.The fresh air here is the natural air-conditioner. Should not have any air-conditioner which destroys the tradition here.If you are planning to have the Swiss style trip, this hotel offers you the taste!

A basic hotel in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk from Interlaken West. On arrival, the male receptionist was very helpful and continued to be so during the course of our stay. Our bedroom was in the annex. All clean, but the bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade. The breakfast was adequate, however the only cooked item on offer was scrambled egg. The fruit salad was tinned. When coming to clear the tables, the waitress used a brush and proceeded to sweep all the crumbs on to the chairs!!

I stayed here for a couple of days recently in December the experience of staying in a traditional Swiss hotel was mesmerizing It was the Christmas season and the place was well lit up, sitting on the chairs at the bar at night gave you that warm Christmas look We took the deluxe room, based on a research, those rooms really stood up for space, quality and comfort We read about other guest reviews of they getting charged, but we were happy during check in they mentioned to us all the rules, which was clear and fair enough They have lifts, good heating, they also have a microwave where you can warm up food One thing they can improve is early check in, but I assume the rooms were not ready Overall good experience do recommend

This would be our second visit to the Hotel Swiss Chalet, our first time was 15 years ago. This time we brought a group of 41 friends with us and no one was disappointed. This family owned Hotel was just as we left it only with new mattresses and Duvets. We wanted the "Chalet" feel travelling from USA to Switzerland and this little hotel does not disappoint. Friendly family service, Clean rooms, a decent breakfast in the morning (included) and an "anything we can do for you" attitude. Thank you!
