I’m so pleased I chose this hotel for my first visit to Quebec City. ||The staff at reception could not have been more helpful which was much appreciated after a 10 hour drive. I was only too glad to take advantage of the Valet Parking service. ||The location was fantastic, in view of the Chateau Frontenac which made the stay so convenient for the local attractions which included the Christmas markets and Toboggan Slide. ||The room I booked was modest but very clean and had ample space to store clothing. ||The hotel provided complimentary tea, coffee and juice and a lovely continental breakfast with a great selection of food. ||There was such a friendly atmosphere in the hotel itself amongst the other guests which reflected on their satisfaction of their stay I’m sure. ||The lounge area was very warm and welcoming on a cold, winter’s day. ||I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This is a very practical place to stay. I was originally booked for a room in the basement that smelled really musty. Thankfully they moved my room when I complained of it's smell, however, still in the basement. My new room was fine. Clean and basic. Walls are thin and easy to hear other rooms and floor above. Parking is $25 per day and not in a protected lot. But the location is hard to beat and staff is friendly and accommodating.

Stayed over New Years 2025 for 3 nights. Location is very convenient, the room was fairly small, more like tiny; the service was on the low end. Charged us for breakfast, although we never had breakfast at the hotel. On check out, we brought it to their attention, they said they were going to remove it from the bill. However 4 days after we checked out... they added a charge (for breakfast). I called them when I realized this. The phone attendant was not at all helpful. He first stated it was 'likeky' for parking, then it was for something else. Then after about 15 min, he confirmed it was for breakfast. I stated multiple times, we never had breakfast at the hotel, he agreed to remove the charge, and stated that a refund would follow in 5-7 days. Here we are 2 weeks later still no refund. So a fair and honest review on the very sub-par service. And yes I filed a dispute charge with my credit card.

Very lovely location, right in the middle of everything. Decent breakfast spread, espresso machine available at any time, wine vending machine with lots of board games in the lobby. Note that the pool, sauna, and hot tubs are at the sister hotel 1km away, which has changing rooms and lockers available. Rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom had a separate Jacuzzi tub and shower. Plenty of towels, nice linens, and comfy sitting area. Our only qualm was being in the garden level room right under the lobby, which was very loud in the evenings.

Good location, good service. Our room was a bit small, 216. If we ever return I would get a suite. Some construction inside but it was not an inconvenience. Was concerned that steps outdoor were not cleared of snow upon departure and carrying luggage. It was a quiet street just steps from the Frontenac. We did not get their breakfast but first morning went to Frontenac (it was great!)

While the hotel is lovely and in a great location, we were unfortunately given a room beside the entry and the coffee machine (room 101). The noise from the coffee area started at 4 am. We had booked a 3 day stay and after 2 nights of not sleeping due to noise we asked to leave a day early. We requested a refund for the our last night due to the less than ideal noise issues. The hotel would not agree to let us leave a day early and refund us for our 3rd night as 24 hours notice was not provided. Although they offered to move our room, the new room was not ready and again we would need to pack all of our belongings and wait for the new room. By this time we were exhausted and just wanted to leave. We are unhappy with the way the situation was handled. We felt leaving a day early and not being charged for leaving early due to the circumstances was reasonable. They disagreed. Again, I don’t feel like this is good customer service especially when we questioned the room choice upon our arrival requesting. for a quiet room. We were reassured that we had a very quiet room. This was not the case.

The staff were very friendly and valet/ retrieved the car quickly. Location to all historical sites was superb. The hotel has a good French vibe with the architecture and windows. We took a basement level room- only available room ,( which was huge with deep soaker jet tub), .... but I would recommend asking for an upper floor room due to the smell of basement. Elevator was sufficient. The breakfast was not included but we went out to the fun local cafes . The trip was overall superb as Quebec is incredibly historic and artsy. Cannot wait to go back and see more ..
