I stayed here for six weeks while travelling on business in Peru. The hotel is really poor, as per European standards. On a positive side: spacious rooms and comfortable beds, very nice, friendly and helpful staff (one of the front desk clerks speaks good English), very good housekeeping. Also, the restaurant is decent with reasonable prices. The neighbourhood is convenient with choice of shops and restaurants within walking distance. But there are serious drawbacks. First of all, the hotel is located by very noisy street, so if you will have a room facing the street, you will hear constant honking, motors revving and loud music from nearby shops from roughly 5.30 am up to 1 am the next day. The icing on a cake is a garbage truck driving down the street every day at roughly 10.30 pm playing loud song about collecting the garbage. Water supply is extremely unstable, with pressure and temperature going up and down within minutes, including hot water disappearing suddenly while you have your soap all over your body. The walls are thin, so if you are bored in the evening you may listen to your neighbours talking or watching tv. There is no heating or AC whatsoever, so the temperature inside is pretty much the same, as inside. In winter this is some 14 - 15 deg C (very much appreciated while walking out of the shower), and some 40 deg C in the summer. Ceiling fan doesn't help a lot. Slow and unstable wifi connection. All in all - as per title.
