Hotel Chesa Languard

This hotel was perfect for us. It's nicely located near stores and cafes, and is not too far from the train station. The breakfast spread was fabulous and had something for everyone's tastes. The employees were met were all helpful and friendly. The room was big and well -furnished. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great!

Spacious, quiet, comfortable rooms with sit out which gives beautiful view of lake and glaciers. Very polite and helpful staff at reception. Close to train station. Suggesting to spend quality time at this hotel and then board scenic Bernina Express to Tirano

My wife and I had a brilliant stay at Hotel Chesa Languard. Our view was incredible out of our room with big glass windows overlooking the lake and mountain. It was a steep walk up the hill from the train station, but the front desk had communicated that in advance.

Arrived and was met by a very friendly guy, who welcomed me, gave me my keys and led me to my room. The room was clean. It had all I needed for a good night's sleep. The bed was comfy and I slept well. I would stay there again if I passed through Zurich again. I felt valued and comfortable there.

Booked this room as it came with a good rating on booking.com but on the way to the hotel saw a lot of hotels that are not listed on booking.com which looked a lot better than this hotel. The design of the hotel is very old but the room is big with a good view out of the window. There is a funny smellin the oom. We had requested for electric kettle and tea items to be provided which the hotel did. Thr breakfast spread is very small with limited items. No fan in room even though the weather was warm.

I stayed here for one night with my wife in Aug 2025 and the hotel is very cosy. The areas outside the room were quite interesting and nicely decorated. The room was ok but despite getting a mountain view room we could only see the buildings around the hotel from our windows. The WiFi was shockingly bad. It would only work from one side of the room and very slow. The TV was on the other side and constantly disconnected from the WiFi. The location was great. I struggled to sleep as both the mattress and pillow were way too soft for me.

We arrived at the hotel around 9 pm after taking the last Glacier Express, but couldn't figure out how to get inside because the main door was locked. When I saw the note in my email that said "No check-ins after 7 pm," I panicked. I checked our emails and reviews for instructions and saw that a code was needed. I tried ringing the bell several times, but no one answered. Thankfully, three other guests returned to the hotel at the same time and kindly let us in. They also pointed out that a check-in package had been prepared for us at the front desk. We were very grateful for their help, as otherwise we would have had no way to enter the hotel that night. Other than that everything else went perfectly.

Excellent location from train and restaurants. Everything is a short walk or bus ride away. Bed was super comfy. No ac but did not need it. Crack the window open and room will cool down. We stayed one-night before taking the glacier express to zermatt and well worth it
