We were past the free cancellation period. I asked them to cancel because our visa hadn't been processed. They canceled free of charge. Because of their wonderful attitude, I will be booking with them as soon as my visa is approved. I can't wait to spend a winter vacation in their wonderful rooms.

Great hotel for vacation, it's easy to access the city of St. Moritz (they even give you free public transport for the time you stay). The building itself is pretty old and has that appeal of old architecture, but it's not falling apart or neglected old.

Staff is very friendly and the quirky house has is own charm. Breakfast is poor in terms of offering. Scrambled eggs for example costs another CHF 6.5. Every extra than bred, butter and marmalade costs extra. Dogs are allowed in the room, but not in the restaurant/breakfast. Bathrooms are not in the room, instead at a separate room. So you need to cross the corridor. Also worth to notice room walls are thin, you can easily hear your neighbors next door. Overall cleanliness is great. This hotel is definitely better for families than couples. And value for money is low. CHF 220.- for a guesthouse/lodge is too much. But since Corona time, it seems every hotel has massively increased their prices. ,pressing the lemon‘ is not sustainable.

Charming rustic place, tasty food and the most friendly staff I’ve ever met. Good location (IMO car still needed) and reasonable price. The building itself is old but everything is solid, we loved the furnishing. Simple dishes but brought to high level! High quality ingredients either. Breakfasts quite basic but good.|Plus for the sauna. :) |I can honestly recommend this hotel, it’s lovely!

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. The decor is old, but very well maintained, rooms are very clean, and the stay is pleasant. The hotel has plenty of communal spaces, which makes this a great place to spend some memorable time with family and friends. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was superb, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a charming and affordable hotel in Engadin, this is a great option.

Beautiful historic villa chock full of character, and with expansive views of the surrounding mountains. The dinner was one of the culinary highlights of our 3 week CH vacation. A memorable stay for all the right reasons.

Building and surrounding was nice, although a bit isolated. Price was outrageous for the status of the room. Very old furniture which was not particularly well maintained. First day, nobody came to clean the room. Breakfast, with extra payments for eggs when the room was up to 300chf. Bathroom in the corridor. People are nice, specially in the breakfast. No tv, no coffee maker, little bit of extras you can buy for a fee downstairs. Very poor value.

Only stayed here for one night but loved it! I was traveling with a friend and we each had single rooms. I was on the 2nd floor facing the road (and the much more expensive Suvretta House) and she was on the lower floor facing the lake. The rooms are not fancy but have everything you need (no TV). My bathroom was more modern, with a great shower, hair dryer, etc. The best part of this hotel is the staff. We arrived wet and cold from town and Cindy prepared us a gorgeous cheese plate which we had with wine in the library. She was also super helpful the next morning with info on cross-country skiing. The common rooms are lovely. There were a lot of kids while I was there, and they were a bit rambunctious, but calmed down eventually. A gem of a place to stay in a very expensive town. Highly recommend.
