We stayed at Chesa Spoundas over Christmas for three nights and were absolutely delighted. We see St. Moritz as a community-oriented, family- and pet-friendly destination with an impeccable yet refreshingly unpretentious level of service. This is one of the reasons we genuinely enjoy staying overnight, despite having a country house not far from the Italian–Swiss border.
We appreciated the old-world charm of the décor and the warm, family-like atmosphere. Breakfast was perfectly sufficient, offering delicious Swiss bread, high-quality yogurt, and granola. Egg omelettes were available for a surcharge, which we found reasonable and appropriate for the room rate.
We definitely plan to return to this charming lodge with its timeless character.
