This hotel is lush green with beautifully decorated gardens. Rooms are clean, good beds with mosquito nets. Hotel staff is attentive. Serves decently good breakfast that fills you up,l. If you don’t need drama & full range place but prefer a quite, cozy, plants decorated hotel to stay, you will like it. Small shop & eateries are outside. People are friendly and clean. Most Rwandan cities are neat clean and people are helpful. I loved this place.

Went there for food, as it was recommended to me for the brochette. We've waited over an hour for the food to come and frankly it was average if not below. On top of that the price are very high compared to over restaurant. At the time it was 14000rwf for 2 brochettes

It was very nice, we spent one night there and it was clean, modern and a very nice resort with nice breakfast and a super green outdoor area. The only thing which unfortunately was huge for us was that it was super loud as it is right at the street and seems like the noise came through 1:1 therefore very necessary sleep was not achieved. Other than that it was really nice!

The location is nice, very close to airport, less than 10 minutes drive. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast buffet is decent. Unfortunately, my room faced the main road and was quite noisy at night. All staff is nice and helpful.

the Hotel is well-located in a neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. The service at the hotel is excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, one drawback is that some rooms do not have air conditioning, making them uncomfortable during hot weather. There are air-conditioned rooms available, but they come at a higher price. The breakfast offered is average. I recommend always requesting a room away from the road, as some rooms are right next to it, making it difficult to sleep at night. The staff is very helpful; for instance, my flight was at midnight, and they allowed me to keep the room until then for a half-rate fee. Another advantage is that the transfer to and from the airport is free. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

I've been to Rwanda several times, but this is the first time I've stayed at Chez Lando. I'd certainly stay again! Staff across the board are incredibly attentive. Reception staff are open day and night and available for anything you might need or require. The cleaning staff are friendly and attentive, both in cleaning the room and doing laundry (I was there for 2 weeks so needed this service and wasn't disappointed). Restaurant staff are incredibly professional and friendly, accommodating every request made. Big shoutout to Innocent in the restaurant who always has a smile on his face and put a smile on mine everyday! There is also a separate BBQ area in the evenings. Prices are really quite cheap for the quality of food served. The gardens are beautiful, very well maintained, and a lovely place to sit and read/relax/do some work.||The room I got was listed as an economy room, and for some it might feel a bit dated, but it had a Queen sized bed with mosquito net, a mini fridge, a desk and a separate bathroom. The TV can be a bit hit and miss with the wifi signal but I was staying for work so didn't use it much at all. Having read reviews about how busy it was, I agree that it is busy at night - it is right in the middle of Kigali in an area called Remera, which is well known for being bustling and full of shops, restaurants etc. It never bothered me as, being a Londoner, I'm used to the noise! However, you might want to request a quieter room on the opposite side of the hotel to the main road if you want more peace and quiet. There is also a regular shuttle service to the airport.||All in all I would definitely stay again. It is a lovely hotel. A tip: this place is an important landmark when learning about the history of the country, make sure you know and understand the story behind this amazing place when you're there!

October 2024 4* Stay for two nights on business trip. The hotel is located close to airport so it means away from the city centre. The stadium is close to the hotel. The property has many rooms spread out. The rooms are nice and clean. The good side is that rooms are big and spacious. The hotel offers complementary airport shuttle and property is clean and secure. Breakfast is available but options are very limited especially if you are vegetarian. The negative side, bed are covered with mosquitoes net, no air conditioning, no elevator and constant vehicle noise from the road. Staff can arrange shuttle or vehicle for you as it is difficult to find taxi in Kigali. However you need to negotiate, cab for 12 hours should cost $60 (hotel staff asked me $150). So be careful while taking these services.
