Hôtel Chez Papa Daya

A family run basic but central Pension in need of some updating. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. This is not really a hotel - more a pension. Only a few of the rooms have an en suite bathroom and toilet. There are no meals but shared basic self catering facilities are provided. However there is no cooker for guests to use.

Very friendly and warm host. He even offered to keep our bags aside for a few hours so we could visit the town. The room was very tidy, with small balcony, good shower and warm interior. The plant garden was a great place to have breakfast (from the bakery around the corner) in the shade of the hot sun. Highly recommended!

Nice little budget hotel well located in the center of town. We had a room with a shared bathroom but the bathroom was sparkling clean. Only 4 stars because I was told to check-in before 6pm which is quite strict (and early) and because the price listed at the hotel was about €20 less than what I paid when I booked online. I'd recommend calling and not booking online.

I spent a total of 10 nights here, in various rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were all exceptionally clean. The kitchen is not geared up for full-on cooking, but there is a microwave and fridge/freezers and lots of space to sit outside or inside to enjoy your meal. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were friendly and professional at all times. This would be my go-to place if I ever come back to Réunion. Double thumbs up!

Stayed at this little hostel for 10 nights. Very good place near the beach and a lot of restaurants. The room was perfect for me and my wife. The little gardens where you can sit in the morning and the evening and eat your food is very nice and clean. Perfect and lives up to what it is. We loved this little place :)

Very friendly owner, the rooms are nice, we had a shared bathroom, which was very clean. Kitchen is wel equipped, wifi very fast, the hotel is located close to everything, well maintained building. Highly recommended. Bring your own towel, towels not provided. Nice big balcony, also a place for sunbathing.

It's so unique in Run Island. Very cosy , spacious,strong Wi-Fi ,well equipped kitchenette (but no cooking stove). The place is lavishly embellished with plants,flowers; right in the city center you just feel like in an exclusive oasis.

I have been there and I sleep in a room for one night with a bathroom and shower sharing ... all was very clean and the owner really helpful... good
