Hotel Chindwin

The hotel is situated in the city center of Monywa, most places in walking distance. Only a few minutes to the markets, Chindwin river and the nightmarket with a lot of food options. Maybe the best option to stay in the center.||||The rooms are ok, nothing special. Not very spacious but clean and equiped with all you need (Aircon, fridge...). Ask for a balcony room (streetview).||||They serve a good buffet breakfast on the rooftop. The rooftop bar has nive views overlooking the city, a great place for some drinks at night. ||||Staff were very friendly and helpful. All kinds of transport are arranged if you need it.

It is second best hotel in Monywa. The room are clean and spacious. The most interesting thing is the rooftop bar (The Moon). It's very cool to have beer and some foot in the evening. You can enjoy the rooftop view to the whole city from there. You can feel a nice unplugged music on Friday and Saturday nights. Worth to stay.

Customer service is one of the best hotels in Monywa , located in downtown and the breakfast buffet is also very good. The rooms are spacious and the facilities are very good.There is a rooftop bar with a very beautiful view overlooking Monywa city. Cocktails and daily special menus are so delicious. No swimming pool. Parking is difficult. It would be better if there were a large parking and a swimming pool.I miss monywa and Hotel chindwin.

at night the moon lounge bar is great, you should go this place. Great cocktail and mocktail, wine, whiskey and chinese and european food with suitable price. Recommend! Location is center of city, so you can go anywhere easily. they have also motobike, toke toke and car rental.

We found a Booking.com offer for a budget room at Chindwin hotel but decided we preferred to see it before booking online. We turned up at the reception and showed the staff the room advertised on our mobile. The lady told us to wait a second as she had to 'discuss it with the manager. She came back shortly,saying we have to book it via app (which didn't make any sense since we were already at the hotel). As soon as we clicked 'book' the application showed the $18 room was no longer available. The next cheapest room was double the price at $33! Obviously, this room hasn't just magically got occupied within a minute the lady was gone. The manager was such incredibly unethical and cunning man that he blocked the room so that we pay more. Needless to say, with such an outrageous treatment we left the hotel immediately.

Worth a stop over for a night or 2 if visiting the Hpo Win Daung Caves and Bodhi Tataung .Get them to hire a taxi for you for the visits not a tuk tuk . Friendly and helpful staff . Nice Breakfast and Awesome roof top bar with great views .

Got a good service here, except its location on busy Monywa road which may make noises in working hours. Apart from it, its rooftop bar will offer a nice city view and its breakfast is remarkable.

Good food, good view, good location which you can walk to night market just 5 minute only. Pagoda view in nigjt time is great. When they turn on the light. You will love it.
