Hotel Chiqui Santander

We stayed a family of four (9&12 year old) Room is modern, good air con and bathroom size, but with little natural light, but the view is stunning! Location is at the end of the bay, providing a long flat walk along the promenade. A sea view room gives stunning views, with a beach break where you can watch surfers! The surfers and waves are quite an attraction! The restaurant is bright and airy with lots of choice for breakfast. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and the beach is on your doorstep. 45 mins walk to the castle at the opposite end of bay, with lovely buildings, parks and history on the way! Convenient parking in hotel carpark or directly outside on street. The roof top pool was a novelty but unfortunately we didn’t use for too long as weather was not the best.

Wife and I had an excellent stay at Hotel Chiqui recently. Our room was great. The free breakfast included is top notch. Very pleasantly surprised by that. Nice location. The view of the beach/ocean is lovely. There is also a nice cliff side walk along the water just outside the hotel. Plenty of parking too.

This hotel is modern and clean and in a perfect location just next to the beach. The family suite was a great size, with separate beds for our girls. The staff are friendly and helpful. My one criticism as that there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which we missed.

This was a superb hotel. The location was perfect. Walked everywhere including returning from the centre of Santander. Public transport is easily accessible as well. We loved sitting outside on our balcony overlooking stunning views of the water and a lovely sandy beach.|The staff, both reception and cleaners were very helpful. |The only down side for us was there were no coffee facilities in the room. Paula did give us a kettle and some sachets of coffee. Not ideal but it was a semi solution. My husband and I would happily recommend it.

Brilliant hotel right on the beach front, superb room and bathroom, excellent dinner in the restaurant, fantastic staff; helpful, very friendly and professional. Great atmosphere, busy but cool. Couldn’t ask for anything more, best hotel stay for a long time. Parking in front of the hotel, or paid underground, kettle on request, and a cheeky vending machine by the lifts. Very chic, cheeky Chiqui!

Lovely view with a balcony. The staff were helpful and friendly. My limited Spanish was not a problem. Breakfast buffet was what I am used to in Europe. Didn’t make it to the pool it looked lovely and others looked like they were having a good time.

The reception staff Cristina kindly upgraded us from a double room to a twin room with a balcony. Overall, the experience was very positive. There was convenient water refilling available in the hall, and the seaside view was absolutely amazing.

I was really satisfied with my stay at Hotel Chiqui, it couldn't be better than this !! Excellent Location, lux and clean. Moreover, the staff and reception were kind and welcoming especially Jeimy who helped me to find nice attraction spots and local seafood restaurants in the town. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
