Hotel Cielo Rojo

This small boutique hotel is a rare gem in Mexico. It feels less like a hotel and more like a beautifully curated home - filled with original Mexican art and thoughtful details. Everything is really clean in a way that feels organic and intentional, not sterile or manufactured. (Whoever put this together clearly values authenticity, warmth and beauty.) The little bistro in the hotel’s interior courtyard is another treasure. I felt nourished with real food, fresh and organic ingredients. Every meal feels made with love. (And the waiter Jose is amazing.) This is the kind of place you almost don't want to tell people about because it’s so special. A place where you immediately feel cared for, relaxed and connected to Mexico’s heart and soul.

Beautiful quaint hotel. Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. Beach only 5-10min walk away. The rooms were very comfortable The town has many roosters and they crow throughout the night. This is just something to be aware of. Overall wonderful stay !

We had a very nice short stay here but we will be returning. Probably spend 3 to 5 nights next visit as this was just one. Cool restaurant next door but Very small portions but good craft beers. | Hotels Male host was lovely and friendly . We thought our room would be noisy being ground floor and next to that bar/restaurant with outside seating only but it was fine. The included breakfast was adequate but some toast and jam would have been nice. Room was fine. Lovely beach 5 mins walk away.

Right in the middle of this charming small town. Very helpful staff. I liked the design of the hotel, I found it had charm. Main street is right there, and has tons of restaurants & bars. Liked the room. There's a beautiful quiet pool at a sister place, just a minute or two walk from the hotel. Next time, I'm in San Pancho, I'll book this place again.

The hotel staff is very friendly and always happy to help with any questions. The food at their restaurant is delicious, all prepared with organic local ingredients. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The hotel is located on a quiet street 6 minutes away from the beach. You might be woken up by nature, i.e., birds (earplugs are available in the room). I had a terrific time there!

We just got back from San Pancho and very much enjoyed our 6-night stay at Hotel Cielo Rojo. The staff is WONDERFUL, all of them, and we really enjoyed our breakfasts in the bistro. The rooms are well kept and the hotel very clean. Location is great. We will be back.

This hotel is so amazing. Incredibly friendly staff, they reached out after I booked a night there to let me know the room would be ready in the morning. The food and drinks there are absolutely delicious and made with love. The room was perfect, even the toiletries were good quality, the AC kept us nice and cool along with the fan, the bed was plenty comfortable, there was water and a bottle with tequila, we could hear the pleasant sound of relaxing music and roosters in the morning. It’s a great location, lots of restaurants and shops right around the corner. Jose was so attentive and took excellent care of us. The ladies in the kitchen were sweet and friendly as well! We kept saying how great this little hotel was and will definitely be back for a longer stay.

The design aesthetic of this hotel is absolutely beautiful - vintage & bohemian. I felt so inspired. The restaurant is in the stunning courtyard downstairs with jazz playing, serving delicious breakfast and lunch. On both of the days we ate at the restaurant, our server was warm and kind. Truly a beautiful place to stay and it’s centrally located too.
