I had a 23 h stop-over at Madrid airport and decided to visit Alcala de Henares. It's 25 km away from the airport and bus 824 takes you directly there (3,60 €, 50 min). I picked Hotel Cisneros because it had a great offer (around 27 € incl. breakfast).||It's around 1,5 km away from the bus stop, a bit off the city centre. When I arrived I was happily welcomed by the receptionist. She gave me a free map and showed me the most important places and recommended good restaurants.||The room was clean and simple, the AC unfortunately didn't really do its job (had to sleep with an open window). The mattress was relatively hard which might bother some. The Wifi was great throughout the entire building which is a great plus. The walls seem to be thin because I could hear almost everything from the neighbouring rooms.||The hotel doesn't have a proper restaurant but a café attached to it where also the breakfast is served. It was very simple (different toasts, bakeries, jam/butter, cornflakes, orange juice), the coffee was freshly prepared for you. No fruits or vegetables, no cheese, meat, eggs or similar. If you want a proper breakfast I suggest to skip this café and head to the city centre.||Overall I recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a budget hotel with no extra needs in Alcala de Henares.

This hotel is great in its category. Don't expect any fancy stuff, there isn't a mini-bar or a great seat of complimentary toiletries (you do get soap and shower gel). But you have a nice sized, clean room with a good bed to sleep on. Walls may be a bit on the thin side, but if you get one of the rooms on the quiet road there won't be much disturbing your sleep.

We originally chose this town as a convenient stopover for our long journey from Carthage to Bilbao ,( South to North of the length of Spain ), but it turned out to be an excellent choice. A good clean Hotel with friendly staff and free parking outside 👍🏻. Our room had glass doors to a private terrace area with seating, and a really comfy bed 👌🏻It’s just 15 mins walk to the amazing Old Town, ( do explore , well worth it :) Breakfast a bit basic but very good price for the night there.

This hotel is just a couple of blocks away from the old city centre, walking streets and historical attractions of Alcala (eg. Cervantes' birthplace). The rooms are perfectly adequate, clean and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there is free parking in front of the hotel. There is a coffee shop in the building with a nice terrace. Overall, highly recommended!

I choiced this hotel as it was outside Madrid and very close to the airport. ||In 20-25 min you reach easily the airport. ||||The hotel itself was fine, the staff very kind and I paid €2,5 more to take the breakfast which also fine. There is a parking in front of the hotel but during my 2 days there it was always full, so I had to park my car on the sidewalk.||||If you desire, you can also dinner the evening to the restaurant inside the hotel until 22h30. Not the best Spanish food of my life but when you are tired and do not want to get out, prefect and again the staff is nice.

When I moved to Alcala, I needed a place to stay before I found a piso. The front desk was extremely helpful and most people spoke enough English for me to find places around the town. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed for 10 days and the staff was nice enough to give me until my last day to pay by paying a deposit as they knew I was looking for a home and in case I found something earlier I wouldn't have to pay for the additional days.

Staff were helpful, room was quiet though make sure you request a nonsmoking room if you want one. About 25 mins to Feria. Breakfast not up to much but otherwise recommended. Not much time visit the local area but for a cheap business hotel this was a1
