I sat down for lunch at 13:30. Got told service starts at 14:00. Fine, I'll wait and have a drink. 14:00 rolls around and I get a menu. But then nothing. Thirty minutes pass, during which I go inside and remind them of my presence. The wait person seemed to indicate she would be out shortly. I then notice two recently arrived customers having their orders taken. After more than thirty minutes with no service, I got up and left. So, this review is just for service. I have no idea what the food might have been like.

This was our first visit to Cazorla and we wanted to be in the heart of the town, with easy access to a range of shops, restaurants and bars. We had originally hoped to attend the "BluesCazorla" Festival, but sadly this was cancelled due to the pandemic. ||||Visitors arriving by car should be aware that parking can be a nightmare and that, although the hotel has a designated loading bay in the central Plaza de Corredera, the Police blocked off the sole access road (Calle Munoz) daily around noon during our 3 day Fri/Sun visit. If you find the same, my suggestion is that unless you're lucky enough to find on-street parking, you should head for the public car park which spirals underground from the R/H side of the Plaza de la Constitucion, immediately before Calle Munoz. From there, it's a c.10 min walk to the hotel. ||||This 3* Hotel's location could not be more central- all of the main sites of the town are within a short-walk and the Cazorla "Parque Natural" is easily accessible by car. We selected a room on the top-floor (small supplement payable) which had great views from a large terrace overlooking the Plaza, although unfortunately the terrace was virtually unusable in the afternoons due to the lack of any shade. The room itself was large and adequately air-conditioned, the bathroom was also large and there was ample space for storing luggage and clothes. The furnishings were a little basic, but perfectly adequate, and room facilities also included a safe, TV, phone and free Wi-Fi.||||Hotel facilities included a splash pool, which was very welcome in the heat of mid-July and a special mention should be made of the restaurant (reviewed separately). Meals (inc. breakfast- worth the small supplement ) were be taken on a pleasant terrace overlooking the bustling Plaza. Both hotel and Reception staff were professional and helpful, despite the no doubt added pressure of COVID requirements, which were strictly observed. ||||For those wanting a convenient and comfortable base in a central location, this hotel is ideal. The cost per night for a double was Eur. 92, including supplements for breakfast and terrace with view, which is fairly expensive for rural Spain.

Cazorla is a charming town, with very narrow streets, it is quite challenging if you have a bigger car. This combined with festivities with extra road blocks, took us ½ hour driving around. The hotel has no parking, so don’t waste your time driving around, but go for parking Andalucia. This parking is in a circle, making it easy to park the car. Be aware: the streets are steep and full of stairs, this is for sure an issue if you have to carry your luggage to the hotel. The hotel itself is at a nice open space. It looks promising on the outside, and shows tree stars – unfortunately that is at least one start too much. The room was very basic, but clean. Problem is that the noise: we had a room at the backside of the hotel (away from the plaza), but there was still a lot of noise. Also note the clock of the church that sounds every ¼ hour. ||Breakfast is in the restaurant (this place is a hotel and restaurant), and the choice is limited. No complaints though, all is in line with the price.||What is more disturbing: if you are non-Spanish tourist, you are last in line. We had dinner in this restaurant, and had to ask 3 times for another drink, when you order, only portions of the order are provided, … This not only happened once, but several times, till finally the boss took care of us (I contacted her to complain about the service). The order arrived promptly, but desert was ‘ forgotten’, till she saw my angry look. This is not OK. And their English knowledge is below basic, we were lucky to at least understand a little Spanish (To be clear: I don’t expect everyone is able to express him/herself in English, but for a touristic area, staff at hotels/restaurants should at least be able to help in English). ||There is a swimming pool that looks like an oversized jacuzzi, surrounded by... walls||Conclusion: this is a very nice town, but I will not return to this hotel.

This place has the usual feel of chain hotels. The pool didn't look appealing being totally encompassed by the building so we weren't tempted to try it and I didn't see anyone else in it either. The restaurant arrangements were confusing. It appears that the Menu del Dia is only served in the day until a certain point in the evening - we didn't establish when - and we were told by one of the staff at about 8pm we could only have it indoors. So, being hungry and wanting something more than tapas, we duly went indoors and waited ages for someone to serve us. Eventually I got up to ask for the menu only to find they'd stopped serving said Menu del Dia. Possibly a cultural and language problem and possibly we should have made more effort to clarify the situation but that doesn't excuse essentially being ignored; we sat quite obviously waiting for at least 25 minutes. Free parking is some way out of town although do-able if you're fit. The discounted parking mentioned in the blurb did not seem to be operational. ||The location is great being in the main square where much of the life goes on. The room was a bit small but perfectly adequate and we had a reasonably good view across the square which was generally not noisy after midnight and has two very good tapas bars immediately facing the hotel. All in all we felt this hotel could be better for the price paid.

Very well located on a pleasant square in this charming small town. Quiet, large room. Breakfast was nice, an evening meal was disappointing, very salty soup and dull main courses but there are plenty of other places to eat. Hair dryer in our room was broken but was replaced the same day. Very good value for money.

Seems to be turning into a regular little stopover when in this part of Spain. Lovely town and a lovely hotel perfectly located right in the centre

We have always loved this place, having had our grandson's baptism celebration, and other family events here. The owners and their staff are professional, friendly, courteous and patient. Even in the busiest time of year they do their best to make sure you enjoy your meal. They also run the restaurant at Cazorla's municipal pool and this is my favorite place to host gatherings with small children! Be assured that they are consious of public health considerations, and that you will get great value for money!

I was there with some friends on Easter holidays. It is a very lovely and cozy hotel, the staff is young and friendly and the food is absolutely awesome! We tried a lot of different andalusian tapas. The location is exceptional, in a lively square with a lot of bars and shops. Plus, the views from our room were amazing!
