Hotel Ciudad de Valladolid

We have paid for a 3 persons and they gave us a very small room. They added one small bed for a child and not adolescents. The room was very close to the reception and thus very noisy. The cards to open the door were magnetised all the time and so obliged to ask the reception to recover! The hair dryer was broken down. The breakfast was quite good

Approximately 30 minutes on foot to the railway station, the city center is 10 minutes away, the room was clean

I'm knocking a couple of points off because I'm certain that the previous people had been smoking in the room..certainly smelt like it but the receptionist was very good & friendly..the breakfast good enough & in a good location

The location was fantastic! Our bedroom was great and we even had a cot. This hotel it’s family friendly. Regarding our breakfast buffets they were all good with a variety of bread, cheese, hams,muffins, cookies, yogurts and juices. The beds were comfortable and a good size bathroom. Highly recommended!

We arrived and the receptionist, Eva, was very unfriendly, didn’t greet us on our arrival and every time we asked something she replied in monosyllabic. She just addressed us and gave us the hotel information. She told us that the city center was a 10 minute walk away and we found that it was more than 30 minutes. No air condition in the room until 11 pm. Sad to say everything very disappointing.

I usually don't do reviews on Google, but I felt that this needed to be reviewed. This was the most unfriendly and complicated encounter I ever had with a hotel. I understand it is close to the exhibition center, so a lot of exhibitors will consider to go there, but you should think twice if you have enough patience for the unprofessional treatment of the reception and reservations staff. Instead of booking at a portal, I gave them a chance to book directly with them. After a lot of back and forth with their reservations department, they managed somehow to make a reservation for 3 rooms and transferred me to the reception to pay (as I am not joining my colleagues, of course I would need to pay the rooms in advance). Reception didn't pick up the phone and also didn't reply to my eMail (after days) and on the phone once I reached them immediately transferred me back to reservations without even listening. Reservations then ignored the calls and when I called reception again for help, they hung up the phone and blocked it so you can not contact them (because it's to annoying for them to deal with it)! I am shocked to be honest, in all my years of experience as an event manager this is outstanding. So this is my input and experience here for anyone interested.

This is a dirty and dingy hotel that needs a desperate rehab. Breakfast is not as good as other NH properties that offer cooked to order eggs and cappuccinos. Quality of meats and cheeses was not on par. Room seemed newer except for the flies and the roach we found in the bathrooms. Better options to explore.

Well connected with buses and taxis and is very well, offers a variety of courses, masters and aid, grants and other businesses, new businesses and young entrepreneurs.
