Hotel Clarks Shiraz, Agra

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We hosted a wedding here and paid for premium, VIP services. We booked 30 rooms and the entire venue for two days. We paid for fresh flowers. We were given fake flower decorations. We arranged food for 300 people. They refused to put out dinner for everyone, and we picked an entire menu and some of the food items were missing. The waiters had horrible service. Random people were allowed into our private wedding, and the hotel staff allowed those people to start serving themselves food (which we paid the fee per plate for) and they came in the event and began taking pictures of my family and the groom. When we spoke to the hotel staff we didn’t even get an apology for compensation. Absolutely disgusting service after all the money we paid. I am absolutely disappointed and will never recommend this hotel or venue to anyone ever again. I have taken lots of videos of the way the hotel manager and staff spoke to us and treated my guests and am more than happy to share those with anyone.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel.Service is good.food is reasonable. Lot of noise from outside due to age of hotel.Luke warm water for shower in the night. We had a bad experience due to members of a noisy marriage party on the same floor as us.we have reported to the duty manager.

The men at the reception desk are highly unprofessional and tried to make comments against our hometown which was absolutely uncalled for. While the infrastructure is that of a 5-Star, the staff employed need serious soft skills training and do not fit the bill of a high end hotel. On a positive note however, highly recommend The Mughal Room. Food and service there was impeccable.

My recent visit to this restaurant was quite pleasant! 🍽️ The food was delicious, and the dining experience was enjoyable. The staff provided excellent service, always attentive and friendly. 😊 Its location is slightly off due to on going metro work. I'd happily recommend it! 👍

I stayed at this hotel for one night during my tour of India. I have to admit that I didn’t really get chance to spend that much time in the hotel. The lunch we had here on arrival was fine, although the following morning the breakfast was so busy that it was hard to find somewhere to sit and not easy to get near any of the food. |The hotel was quite big, as were the bedrooms. The bedroom was fine. My only criticism is that now that tourists technically have a lot of technology to charge on their travels that there was a lack of sockets in the bedroom, and on one side of the bed there were no sockets at all! |The staff here were lovely and friendly, though, and my overall stay here was fine. Thank you!

Rooms were clean and service is great in this hotel. Location is close to Taj Mahal which is good. The buffet breakfast service at Checkers was really good and of note, Divya was very attentive, helpful with answering any questions and quick with clearing the table or helping to bring more masala chai. Her service made the buffet dining experience an enjoyable one.

After I came to my room that was completely freezing. I ordered a heater device, it came after 5-10min in my room and the staff was waiting in the doorway. I suggested that he wants a tip so he got 20 roupies (0,2$) and I tried to close the door but he started cleaning my pants. I didn’t think much of because I thought he just wants to be kind for the tip I gave him. I didn’t notice I had my short unzipped and by trying to clean my pants he slipped his hand in my shorts and tried to pull them off( one hand in my butt and the other in the hole of my shorts) I was completely confused and shocked by what happened and after shouting at him and pushing him I could not do anything I was in a shock . After I came to complain, the staff was unprofessional, unbothered and nearly unhelpful. When I identified the man, he turned against me and said that I started to touch him. I felt completely ashamed and uncomfortable. My worst experience in a Hotel. I am a tourist guide and I’am glad that didn’t happen to any of my clients. After all that they made me pay for my water of bottle that I ordered for dinner that was totally over priced (you could see the actual price of the bottle on the back 20 rupies and they charged me 160 … the front desk is totally unresponsive and untrained.

I stayed at Hotel Clarks Shiraz, Agra. Although it is a star-category hotel, my overall experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no courteous reception from the hotel staff. We had booked the hotel through a third-party platform, and it appeared that this might have influenced the attitude of the staff, as they were not very polite or cooperative.|The room doors were very tight and difficult to open, and the air-conditioning fittings seemed old. There was no proper hot water supply. Even after informing the front desk about the hot water issue, the response was unsatisfactory. The bathtub water also appeared contaminated, which was concerning.|The only positive aspect of the stay was the food, which was tasty and enjoyable. Good ambience, Good interior decoration, I agree.
