Pros:||- comfortable size room.||- AC, mini fridge, small-but-enough-to-dry-towels-on balcony.||- frequently cleaned the room.||- decent buffet breakfast, both hot and cold options.||- hairdryer in the bathroom.||- comfortable mattress.||- fulfilled our sea view and double bed requests.||Cons:||- some mold and rust in the shower.||- no shelves in the bathroom or in the shower. The single towel rack barely fit a big and a small towel. ||- rough and spiky plastic bathroom mat I dreaded stepping on.||- sea view largely blocked by other buildings.||||More:||Been here with our 4yo and on arrival was very pleasantly surprised to find an extensible couch by the main bed. We didn’t ask for anything extra so I assumed it was part of the default accommodation. There were no extra sheets for it but I found an extra pillow in the closed (no case but softer) used the flat sheet placed on the bed and made a very comfortable place for our daughter to take her afternoon nap. No big deal, I’ll just ask for an extra sheet and pillow case later. The front desk lady was nice, said she’ll take care of it and we went out. 5 minutes later I got a call from the hotel (did not say who she was) asking me if the sheets were for the child and when I said yes, she angrily replied that Booking clearly says, for any child under 10 we need to make do with the room “in its current condition” and any extra sheets are charged separately 35ron/night. Not understanding what I did wrong I babbled “but it’s there, what could have I assumed..” got cut off by by more angry comments and the conclusion that I can use the bed, but we wouldn’t be getting extra sheets unless we pay. I said ok, we’ll make do with the current conditions. She probably saw that I already used it since I didn’t fold it back before we left (wasn’t trying to hide anything) but her rage left me baffled. When we got back to the room the bed was folded the flat sheet back on the bed and the extra pillow gone. Not back in the closed, gone. It was clear that actually she didn’t want us to use it as a bed at all. Didn’t escalate the conflict but it really put a dent in our stay there. I didn’t deserve to be yelled at for using something that was in the room, same as the AC or fridge. She could have just explained that extra sheets cost extra and that’s it. I also expect that any restrictions, to be communicated to me at check-in. And I do understand that I’m a guest and it was their right to take the pillow away but for such a spiteful reaction I'll certainly never return to this place.
