Me & my partner stayed & had an amazing experience! The interior design of the hotel is beautiful! Egyptian theme was on point. Our room was very accommodating, especially the jet bath very romantic. The spa facilities were lovely. The breakfast buffet has so much to choose from. All fresh. The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly & welcoming! You’re right near town and 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfect location. Looking forward to our next stay!

The pictures say one thing. And reality is another. 1. Many staff speak poor or no English. 2. For a 4-star hotel, the breakfast is very bad. Cucumber, pepper, for example, is missing. Bigger glasses for juice. The quality of the coffee is equal to zero. They often serve old bread from a few days ago. You can take coffee only one size of coffee cup. 3. The final processing of details during the renovation of the hotel is very poor. You often have poorly placed ceramics or holes. 4. There is no protection for birds. Birds come to the balconies and leave their droppings or just disturb the client when he is sleeping. 5. The elevator is very small and not adjusted adequately. You often wait for him for more than 10 minutes. 6. There is no kettle in the room and you cannot make yourself coffee or tea. 7. The safety deposit box is missing. In our case, there was a safe that did not have a lock. The lock has been removed. Embarrassing. 8. Many clients leave their towels on the sunbeds already in the morning. And so they take places. Because the staff does not want to explain that it is irresponsible.

Fantastic location close to all amenities! |10 minute walk to the beach, close enough to the strip to be there in 10, but far enough away to be away from it all. ||The room had everything you would need for your stay and the small fridge in the room made ALL the difference. The bath tub is amazing! More than anything though, the hotel is spotless and so clean! ||The staff are 10/10 and cannot do enough for you at the Cleopatra which made our stay extra special! ||I’ll definitely be back!

I was a bit nervous as I hadn’t seen any recent reviews on the hotel since October, but I had no reason to be worried. After a long, late transfer we arrived and were greeted by Miguel who was very welcoming and always had a smile on his face. all of the staff overall were great. |The hotel overall is very clean, there was always the clean smell present in reception and our rooms. The rooms were pretty standard, they match the pictures well. The room came with a safe (requires a deposit) and a fridge. Walls are quite thin, which wasn’t much of an issue for us as the hotel is situated a few mins away from the nightlife but can be irritating if there are people staying next door. Beds were comfy and we had air conditioning and a balcony. There is also a jacuzzi feature in the bath. |We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. The cocktails were great and reasonably priced (about €7-8). The Cleopatra secret cocktail is definitely worth trying!|You can rent pool towels for €2 each and have to leave a €10 deposit per towel which is returned to you when you return the towel. The pool was nicely heated and wasn’t too cold, although wouldn’t have minded it being a bit colder. Plenty of sunbeds and also a vending machine, sauna and steam room by the pool. |There is a supermarket right beside the hotel and the beach, shops, bars and bus station are about a 5-10 minute walk. |Any problems we had they were happy to fix them and were quickly resolved. |Overall the stay at the hotel was very good and would return here if returning to the area on a budget.

I had visited Lloret de Mar (Spain) the year before and stayed at Aqua Hotel Bertran across the road from Cleopatra. That experience was excellent, so we decided to return. However, since Cleopatra was cheaper we chose it instead. I deeply regret that choice and am shocked at the stark difference between two hotels just a street apart.||Cleopatra is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but it lacked the facilities expected of such a rating. There were no kettles or cups in the rooms for making tea, the minibar was temperamental so our drinks were not kept cold. The WiFi was unreliable, forcing me to use my own data. The lack of proper WiFi is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Additionally, there was no iron in the room. ||The beds were change every morning and the floor mopped. However the sides and balcony were always left. The safe deposit box provided in the room did not work.||The majority of guests were middle-aged, working-class Caucasian couples. The entertainment, food, and general atmosphere catered more to that demographic rather than being open to diversity and multiculturalism, which is strange considering theme of the hotel is Egyptian Cleopatra.||Additionally, we were given orders as if we weren’t paying guests, such as being told to “remove your hat while in the breakfast hall,” and my wife was not allowed to use the pool unless she was dressed in a bikini. They compared wearing a modest swimsuit to being as offensive as going topless. These issues made us feel uncomfortable. Some of their staff need training on customer service.||However, to be fair there were some staff members who were really polite, professional and helpful, especially the tall man who works the night shift at reception and an older blonde lady who works during the day (apologies, but I do not remember their names). We also appreciated being able to extend our checkout for a reasonable price. ||In conclusion, this hotel is reasonable priced but doesn’t meet a 4* standard for me. The overall experience was ok but not what I would expect from a 4*and I probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.|The breakfast was basic and the same every day: bread, several types of pork, eggs, and sugary cakes.

Overall a good hotel & lovely staff. Very clean & well kept. Food fresh & varied. However the sound proof between rooms is very poor in as much as you can hear normal conversations, therefore when someone comes back late & had drink & talking under the influence of alcohol its unbearable & very disturbing. Would verymuch bear this in mind

Absolutely amazing hotel! I can say so many positive things about my stay here, but here’s what stuck out for me: The Staff - They were so friendly, warm, and always smiling. I get very nervous when I travel, but they made sure that I felt comfortable and were so accommodating. The blonde lady and tall man at reception were so helpful, kitchen staff Miceala, Manjot, and El Khaldi were so amazing, and Freddie at the bar always served us with a smile! I noticed some poor reviews regarding staff in terms of their ability to speak English - don’t go abroad and expect people to speak English! They made an excellent effort to try and speak it, but if anything, people should make an effort to speak Spanish/Catalan since you’re in their country. The Location - There’s a supermarket across the road which is so useful for grabbing bits that we needed. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the main high street, and about a 10 minute walk to the bus station (super handy for getting around Costa Brava). The Food - We went for full-board and I couldn’t recommend it more. It was great value for money and all three meals had an amazing selection. My mother cannot have gluten and there were so many options for her, with the kitchen staff showing her what was coeliac safe. The Facilities - Our room was lovely and was cleaned every day, and a mini-fridge comes with the room so we could keep things cool. The hotel was absolutely spotless, including the pool and hot tub. Overall, the most amazing place ever and will definitely return!

Excellent staff from the receptionists, cleaners, management and dining room assistants. Our room was cleaned and replenenished each day. This hotel also has a heated pool, sauna & steam room which is also ideal. Thanks to you all for our welcoming stay 😊
