After a bumpy flight from Prague, this hotel was exactly the welcome I needed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by one of the staff and handed a glass of bubbly. The hotel is in a perfect location, central but tucked away just off a busy street, so it feels peaceful while still being surrounded by bars, cafes, and local life.
We were about a mile from the Jewish Quarter, where we found tons of great places to eat and discovered two amazing ruin bars. But what really stood out during our stay was the staff. Every single person we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel at home. They helped arrange a day tour, make a dinner reservation and even called ahead to reserve us a spot at one of the local spas.
Breakfast each morning was filling for a day’s worth of walking with fruit, fresh pastries, yogurt, and coffee. The hotel itself has a cozy, intimate vibe, and our room was super comfortable for after a long day of walking, and the shower had great water pressure (always a plus!).
Budapest is such a walkable city, with beautiful parks and charming cafes everywhere you turn. We had an incredible time.
