Hotel Collinetta

This is a wonderful hotel where we stayed often during the last 10 years. There was always really a great atmosphere there with extremely friendly and helpful employees. This is the main reason why we will come back again and again. We always had a fantastic time at this marvellous location.

Great second stay ! Location is absolutely stunning. Comfort and equipment is first class. Personnel is extremely competent and friendly. Everything is almost perfect. Looking forward to coming back and...to the planned new pool.

Airco did not work at all, room 25°+ after 12h of "cooling". Barely slept at all during the night due to this. This hotel would easily be a 5/5 for us, and the perfect stay otherwise, but having an airco that did not work at all ruined the entire stay. After 2h with the airco running the room was half flooded from condensed water already, temperature did not drop a degree in the meantime, air only became stale.

Cozy and beautiful hotel with amazing views on lake. 2 minutes from Ascona village. Friendly staff willing to inform or resolve any question with smail on face.

We spent the day here, using the pool and having lunch. What a lovely experience! Staff are very friendly, speaking many different languages easily which although may be the norm for them, I was just so impressed, the service at lunch was great, they were so attentive. The food - wonderful!!!! The pool was also lovely, the morning it had some children in who screamed a lot (as children do!) but once they headed off you could really enjoy the views and peace, the pool had a little balcony with beds to enjoy the lake view. Great experience!

This is a wonderful hotel! Charming and serene. You can still walk into town (although it's a healthy walk) or simply take the bus (1 stop). Very comfortable rooms. The service is terrific. Spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The restaurant hotel is excellent. This is a real gem nestled into hills above Lake Maggiore.

Excellent place, wonderful terace and view on the lake. The junior suite was great. Using public transportation, the bus stop is not far, but on week-end, expect rare buses. However, going to Ascona center gives you access to more buses and it's a nice walk overall. The service was great, we could find a few French speakers and managed the rest flawlessly. The restaurant is a must go.

Beautiful hotel with great location and nice atmosphere. In reception Sabina was friendly and helpful for all our stay. Our daughter got a cute gift. Hotel has cute children play corner, with lots of books, toys and games. The room was ok, but keep in mind that during the cold period, ants can visit here. Many thanks to the cleaners for preventing them. The breakfast was wonderful! We recommend this hotel, we had fantastic stay! Thank you.
