Excellent position overlooking Poinete beach |Small hotel on the gateway to the old town with its masses of bars and restaurants |Rooms are slightly dated but immaculate and perfect with everything you need |Sea view rooms are exceptional overlooking beach, square and marina |Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold selection with freshly squeezed orange juice |Underneath the hotel is a cracking bar restaurant residents have a 10% discount off their bill |All the staff are exceptional with a special mention to front desk trio of Manuel, Jamie and Vincent|Fourth stay for us and looking forward to coming back

Clean rooms, very friendly staff, great location, but very noisy at night. Breakfasts - the same every day, no vegetables, only bacon and eggs served hot. A big plus for the fresh orange juice. Dinner - a choice of two dishes. The quality and preparation deviate from hotel standards. Fish is usually undercooked and served with strange sauces.

Excellent hotel, got the best room in the house on the top floor with the most beautiful views. The room was big and so clean. The staff were friendly and so helpful throughout. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely too. This is my 3rd time in Beni but my 1st time staying at hotel colón, I plan to use this hotel for every future visit.Thank you to all the reception and cleaning staff that made our stay epic!!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and I’ve never been disappointed. As stated above the staff and extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are, well appointed and the views stunning. Booking is very efficient; rates are very reasonable. Thank you to the lovely staff at the colon for another wonderful holiday.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of old Benidorm. |Didn't know what to expect after seeing YouTube videos but the hotel has been refurbished. |Rooms are clean and light with very good bathrooms. We had a beach view room which was lovely. Kettles can be made available on request. |Straight out of the entrance and on to the beach !!

6 of us (3 couples) ate at the Colon restaurant |We sat inside as it was super hot outside. ||The waitresses were nice enough. ||About to order, when we were joined by a large cockroach, on further inspection and research, we found that it was an American Cockroach, it was SO big. ||We bought it to the attention of the waitress, thinking that she would be astounded, but she just laughed and left it where it was at the side of our table on the wall. We asked for a glass and managed to catch it and take it outside. ||We should have listened to our instincts and finished our drinks (3 beers and 3 waters) and not eaten there, but we didn’t. ||The toasted sandwiches were good. |But the fish and chips, the fish was made of ‘minced’ fish and the chips soggy and were obviously frozen chips. ||We ordered 3 Chicken Caesar salads and the chicken was like reformed chicken nuggets, that had been chopped up, some were cold, some warmish. ||We picked at our food, paid €88.20 and left feeling disappointed.

Cleanliness, comfort, meals superb. Attention and helpfulness from staff first class. We will be coming back again . Judy across from the beach and Dove Park, the views are amazing

The location is brilliant,the owner and most of the staff are great,room ok so for a room only stay its adequate but we went half board and couldnt eat the evening meal of chicken and dry chips nor the breakfast its not a hotel to eat at but we were refunded the money for 2 people half board which for a week came to £170 euros which gives an idea of the quality of the food.
