Hotel Colón Gran Meliá

This was the best hotel experience we have ever had!! Everything was perfect! The staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful, and they truly strived to make us feel special while we were there. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. It was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen. We LOVED the rooftop terrace with the pool. I found myself taking a nap up there in the sun almost every afternoon. But I really just can’t get over how amazing the staff were. They made our stay there so nice and we can’t stop talking about how it was one of the highlights of our trip. You can tell that they really care about their customers and truly take pride in their work. I would love the opportunity the spend time at this hotel again. It’s truly a magical place! 5 stars isn’t high enough

What a beautiful hotel in Seville |Glad that this was luxurious. Unlike Melia hotels affiliated! Which I strongly don’t ever suggest trying. ||This was stunning from the luxurious aroma as you enter the public areas. To the helpful staff. ||The rooms were lovely ||The breakfast needs a little help. I don’t think it’s adequate for a 5 star hotel. The restaurant breakfast staff were rude! ||Loved the hotel!!!!||Please get the waiter counter outside cleaned painted. It’s soo ugly to sit on the pretty sidewalk looking at this see photo … staff of the breakfast restaurant are RUDE

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. We had connecting premium rooms which were spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. Just a street view, but that is probably the case for all rooms. House-keeping was very efficient and the rooms had been cleaned when we returned for our afternoon siesta each day. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were polite and efficient. The free wi-fi worked well too. The location was close to the major attractions and we did our excursions on foot, apart from once where we took a short ride on the tram. There were unlimited places to eat and drink nearby. Check-in took a while (and they ask for two e-mail addresses not just one) but check-out was very fast. We did not use the rooftop pool but guests should be aware it is very small, with a few loungers available. So overall a really good experience and we would be happy to stay there again. There are a few small things that would improve the hotel even further. The elevators did not function smoothly - on one of them the doors closed extremely slowly. Online check-in was offered but is a laborious process (such as entering every guest’s passport details) which I declined as it did not offer me any added convenience. Reception staff and the concierge were very helpful when we needed help (such as booking a taxi back to the airport).

The location was perfect for exploring Serville, our room was fine but not WOW. If you had any mobility issues it would have been very difficult to shower as it was over the bath with big step in. Not much natural light as 2 smallish windows. We were replenished with water in the room twice daily and turndown, which was great. Had a birthday treat delivered to both our rooms which was a lovely touch. Did have a problem with breakfast the first day but after complaining, couldn’t do enough the second day. If you are driving be aware there is only valet parking at €39 per day.

This hotel was one of the most amazing hotels I've stayed in. The location was incredible, the service was impeccable, the smell and decor of the hotel was very pleasing. The restaurants and services were outstanding. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Do not hesitate to book, you will be so happy you did. It was so good I found it hard to round up the family to leave to sight see as they wanted to stay in the hotel all day.

This hotel is amazing! It is beautifully decorated, centrally located, meticulous, very classy and has multiple amenities. We traveled with 6 adults (2 50+ YO and 4 20+ YO). We loved our option for included breakfast as well as the lounge room with access to drinks and tapas, etc. throughout the afternoon and evening. The staff is incredibly attentive as well.

Simply an amazing, beautiful hotel. From the start, we felt as though we were being treated with the utmost hospitality. The staff are so kind and professional, the food is wonderfully prepared in the restaurant and the breakfast area, and the rooms are luxurious and well-serviced. It was a highlight in and of itself during our Sevilla stay. With a central location it was so easy to get around the city. We can’t wait to come back and stay again! Be sure to check out their bull fighting exhibit by the concierge/check in area and the historic original bar area!

I had a great experience at this hotel! The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and I felt very well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
