Hotel Colonial Cancun

Basic room, clean, old AC but works. I didn’t get the room I booked, I guess it’s because it was a double beds room that could host 4 people, the receptionist was surprised to see only one person showed up🤣 Both night time and day time receptionists I had met were very friendly. Good for one night stay.

We were only there for one night but comfortable beds, great location, very nice people. Clean, everything worked easy check-in check out and great price

Just about 7 mins walk from ado bus station, very convenient location. Room is small and basic, but clean. Staff is very friendly. Good for a night or two.

It is located behind some night clubs that looks shady… in the street of the clubs there are some guys sleeping on the street stuff like that. Some people are sitting smoking looking at you. The hotel is located behind the the street. I arrived there around 2am but there was a lady who helped me check in. It was only good point. The room wasn’t so dirty but not clean. Not only i heard the music but also felt vibration of bass sound from the night clubs from the room, because the room has a ventilation hole which doesn’t close. I couldn’t sleep at all that night… This is for people who can sleep with tremendous noise and don’t want to pay much. If you are noise sensitive you should not go… I chose this hotel because it was close to the bus station and cheap, but I will never go back there. I would rather pay more for good sleep and my safety.

Bedbugs! I booked this hotel assuming that for the price, the amenities would be basic but reasonable. But the room was in bad condition. The TV didn’t work, the WiFi isn’t great, the bathroom was in poor condition, the shower had no hot water, and the outside noise is quite loud. But by far the worst thing was the beds. They were quite old, but I was too tired to focus on that. Within 20 minutes of laying down I could feel bedbugs biting me. I immediately changed hotels the next day. Please don’t stay here.

Central to everything in downtown Cancun. Loud music as it is near the bar. It is near the Ado bus station and city centre. Near the airport and hotel zone. Easy to catch the bus to the main beach along hotel zone (R1 bus). Great value if you want to stay and check out downtown Cancun. TV does not work. Wifi is weak in the room. Overall, it is okay.

The worst experience ever. The hotel had a bad smell, the rooms were claustrophobic. The air conditioning machine was falling, the sink of the bathroom was broken but the worst thing is that the hotel was just in front of a disco and the windows were not sound proof so it was like to have the music in the rooms.

The are some cheap and good restaurants around the hotel. The bed was not good for two people, maybe good for one. However, the best was the price and location. There are not parking lot inside the hotel, you have to park at the street.
