Hotel Colonides Beach

Colonides delivered everything promised and more during our recent stay at this quality hotel.|The location is beautiful. Perched above beach level, the views across the Messinian Gulf to the rugged terrain of the Mani are stunning. |We were welcomed by the very charming Marianna who gave us a comprehensive tour of the site and all the details needed for our time at Colonides.|Our room was a deluxe sea-view. It was clean, bright and comfortable. There was ample storage space and the air conditioning was very effective. The sea view certainly did not disappoint and we enjoyed this every evening from the private balcony.|Breakfast was excellent! Served in a restaurant which extended onto an open aired terrace with those fabulous views, there was a very good choice of food which was constantly replenished. I loved the various filo pies and one day, there was even a baked cheesecake which was delicious! |Lunch and dinner were also served in the same area. The menu for each was varied, sometimes with specials and overall the quality of the food was excellent.|What really stood out though and made our stay special was the kind and generous hospitality shown by the staff. All who we encountered were lovely but we would single out Anastasia and her team in the restaurant, including Ledia and George, whose company we enjoyed immensely. Any business is only as good as its people and these people are an invaluable credit to Colonides. |Hope to visit again one day and cannot recommend highly enough 😊

What can I say, other than we had an absolutely wonderful time at this fantastic hotel!||Everything about it is great. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, with plenty of luxury beds available. At night, when it’s lit with lanterns and moonlight, it’s even more beautiful!||The bar service is super efficient and also reasonable prices.||We ate at the restaurant twice and it was very high quality food - from the ceviche to the fresh fish and steaks, everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.||I have to comment on the staff - they are all very friendly, professional and helpful. They all clearly care a lot about providing a great service.||We will 100% be back!

Nicely located hotel with a beautiful view over the sea. We had two different hotel rooms. One in the new building, one in the old. The older room is really outdated and would require some refurbishment. The new room is very nice tough. The pools are beautiful, but please do not use your new, white swimming trunks. Everything which is white will turn yellow and will not get white anymore after washing it. There must be some kind of chemicals in there which cause that. The hotel offers umrellas and sun beds very close by at a nice beach. The breakfast is good, but we had hoped for a bit more variety in a 4-star hotel. All in all, a nice relaxing holiday with friendly staff!

We stayed in August with my wife and daughter. Besides the wonderful scenery, and the private pool which we enjoyed a lot, the highlights of our staying was the amazing stuff of the hotel. Panos, Anastasia, Lydia and Ioanna thank you for making this week a week to remember!

I must be honest, I did not stay at this hotel. But my parents did, while celebrating the birthday of my mother. A day before her birthday I called the hotel, asking if we could arrange a surprise for my mother. They were very open, kind and active in our contact and wanted to help create a memorable experience. The day of my mother's birthday I got a text from a happy mom with pictures of their room; they did not only gift them the wine we ordered, but also decorated the room with flowers and flower petals, put down some fruits and added a card with a personalized message. My mom was touched by this surprise, which was the goal. So, again, a big thanks to the hotel for helping us to surprise my mother in such a lovely way!

Stayed here for a week in September 2024 - our second visit.||This is a lovely boutique style hotel with amazing sea views from two super pools and the restaurant.||There is something for everyone at breakfast, with seating both inside and out. The staff are very friendly too.||Three restaurants are in walking distance, as is the main sandy beach.||A great place to relax and unwind.

I highly recommend The Colonides Hotel. The service and the food was excellent. Its biggest attraction is its infinity pool and private beach. STUNNING! The staff gave us a nice fruit and wine gift for our anniversary. Our best experience on the Peloponnese.

Our room was very comfy and clean with a nice sea view. People are very helpful and polite. Great small infinity pool and direct access to the beach. Breakfast was also very nice.
