This is a basic old hotel reasonably well kept. The rooms are big. Breakfast is correct. The clean pool is a nice extra.

We picked this hotel based on price. We found the location very good, at the foot of Calle Gorlero on the peninsula and an easy walk to both the harbor and the ocean. The rooms are small but clean and the beds comfortable. Our first assigned room was very small and the staff moved us to a bigger room at no extra cost....very nice of them. They also expedited laundry services. The staff was friendly and helpful in giving directions, coordinating a rental car, and explaining bus routes. The breakfast buffet was OK. If you're able, pay for a premium room on the pool plaza. We didn't, but they looked nice.

My husband, 4 year-old, and I have been here a week into a three week long stay, and we are so happy with this sweet little hotel at the heart of punta del este. The hotel itself has old world charm, with some features that are little dated, but still function perfectly. We are using the garden, swimming pool and gym, which are small but perfectly maintained and immaculate. The bedrooms are a good size, have working air conditioning and modern enough bathrooms and kitchenettes. You can also eat off of the floor with how clean they are. The cleaning staff here is absolutely amazing. You can see them wiping down every surface all the time. It is very reassuring, especially with the Covid numbers rising in the country. The manager is very personable and runs the place incredibly efficiently, and we have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the front desk staff. We can't recommend this place enough.

Took advantage of a local promotion similar to Groupon. We were pleasantly surprised as it is rated three stars. Our room was one of four with a nice balcony facing the pool. The hotel is located in a quiet end of the main strip and has its own parking facilities. We found the breakfast pleasant, the cleaning ok, the staff very friendly, really no complaints. The pool area is very nice and there is a gym and sauna facilities. Walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants near the yacht port.

We booked to stay for 1 night at this hotel on a very last-minute booking, because we had to move out from our AirBnb apartment which was invaded by ants! We called at about 11pm and arrived at the hotel a little after midnight. The hotel doesn't have lifts, and we had two very heavy and large luggage with us. So, we asked for a room on the ground floor and were given one at the end of the corridor. It was very spacious, with a little sink and kitchen cabinet with some utensils. No cooking facility or kettle were provided. Just a fridge.||||Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable double bed. Shower was hot and strong, and breakfast (which was of a good spread) was included in our room rate. There was a water dispenser in the lobby (both boiling and cold water), which we could use to fill our bottles or make our own coffee.||||Staff were very polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is towards the southern part of the city's peninsula, so, it is quite a far walk from the more popular (and hence, crowded) Playa Brava and Playa Mensa. However, there are a few quiet beaches nearby, which are more favoured by the locals. It is also very near to the Port, which has a lt of restaurants and cafes.||||Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel, and have no hesitation in recommending it to other visitors.

Have mixed feelings about this hotel. The rooms are large enough and the pool area is lovely, but the main reason for getting a hotel near the beach is having somewhere to rest comfortably at night after a hot shower and these are the two things where this hotel really fails to deliver. The bed was small, old and worn, which is a shame because the room is large enough to fit a much larger bed, and the shower kept changing temperature from boiling hot to ice cold without touching the taps, so we would constantly have to adjust the temperature while having a bath (which also makes showers take longer and wastes more water in the process). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the price was one of the lowest in this category, so that garners it an average rating.

The hotel has really good service, recepcionists were really helpful with everything I needed. The breakfast is their weakest feature, I think it should include more options like some kind of meat, eggs and pancakes, but it's not a bad one. There's wifi and pcs to use. The pool is nice and it has a little steam room and a little gym.

Hotel Concorde seems to have faded over the years. Our suite showed it’s age. It had a musty odor. After our first night, one air conditioning unit & part of the toilet required replacing (for which management did provided a refund). It is located in the heart of the point with free parking. The pool area was a plus. It seemed there was a closed bar/restaurant next to the pool. The staff was helpful, but my daughter’s Spanish fluency was needed. Breakfast was SA standard. Everything is expensive in Punta del Este, so this hotel is decent value.
