Hotel Condes de Barcelona has a truly fantastic location — right on Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by Gaudí landmarks, luxury shops, and excellent restaurants. You can walk to almost everything, and the metro is just minutes away. It's the perfect base for exploring Barcelona.||The hotel has a stylish appearance at first, but look a little closer and the flaws are hard to miss. The shower stall was so tiny that I had to step in and out very carefully just to avoid bumping into the door — it felt cramped and uncomfortable. The room lighting was poorly planned, and most of the light switches looked like they were about to fall off the wall. The bedside control for the shades was so old and fragile that I was genuinely afraid to use it.||One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of a smart TV. No Netflix, no YouTube, no streaming options at all — only basic TV channels, and BBC News was the sole English channel available. In 2025, and at this price point, this is simply unacceptable.||However, what truly saved my stay was Jacson from the hotel staff. He was absolutely outstanding — genuinely friendly, sincerely helpful, and full of positive energy. Jacson went above and beyond every time I interacted with him, always anticipating guests' needs and making everyone feel welcome. His attitude was not just professional, it was heartfelt. I can honestly say that Jacson single-handedly turned what could have been a disappointing stay into an enjoyable one. His warmth and genuine care made all the difference — Hotel Condes de Barcelona is very lucky to have someone like him on their team.||The rooftop bar was another highlight — a fantastic space with gorgeous views over Barcelona, perfect for a relaxing drink after a day of sightseeing.||Overall: unbeatable location, a fabulous rooftop bar, and unforgettable service from Jacson — but serious room maintenance issues that really need to be addressed. Without Jacson, my review would have been much harsher. At this price, guests deserve better room quality — but thanks to Jacson, I still left with good memories.
