Hotel Condes de Barcelona

Great hotel with spacious rooms and super attentive staff. We stayed here for 5 nights, the room was very clean, the bed is comfy and when we asked for an extra towel, someone immediately came up and brought us 5. The location is obviously amazing (if a bit noisy, especially in the mornings), you can reach almost anything by foot and there are great restaurants nearby. The only "issues" were that there is no smart TV, which was a bit disappointing considering the price point.

Disappointing Stay at Condes de Barcelona – Never Again! I stayed at Hotel Condes de Barcelona for 7 nights, expecting a certain level of quality given the high price. Unfortunately, the negative experiences far outweighed the few positives. Pros: ✅ Great central location – Perfect for exploring Barcelona. ✅ Nice rooftop bar with a beautiful view over the city. Cons: ❌ Key cards are a disaster! – The key cards barely work. I had to reactivate them at reception multiple times a day (at least 5-6 times!) just to access my room and use the elevator. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. ❌ Noise from construction work – There are renovations happening in a store on the ground floor. The drilling and hammering start as early as 9 AM and last until 5-6 PM. It can get extremely loud, making relaxation impossible. ❌ The gym is a joke – It’s barely 3-4 square meters with four dumbbells, a treadmill, and an exercise bike. If you’re serious about working out, forget about it. ❌ Tiny sauna – Only fits two people, maybe three if you’re comfortable squeezing in with strangers. 💰 Price vs. quality? Absolutely unacceptable! For the high room rates, one would expect basic functionality and decent quality – neither of which are provided. The key card issue alone made my entire stay unnecessarily frustrating. 🚨 Final verdict: Never again! I cannot recommend Hotel Condes de Barcelona and will definitely not be booking here again.

Excellent hotel located on the Paseo de Gràcia. A main avenue with high end stores, restaurants and the neighborhood around is pretty great with lots of places to go to eat and have an excellent time. The rooms are comfortable, the service is great and the breakfast is also good. The hotel has a rooftop with a hell of a view. There you can eat tapas, main dishes and have drinks. We walked a lot from there to meet ours tour and go to restaurants. In summary, if you are going to Barcelona, you should consider the Hotel Conde’s in the Paseo de Gracia.

Perfect location next to all the top brands in the world! The reception team is very pleasant as we walk in and out all the time, taking a break from our shopping etcAn important aspect is that we felt safe in this hotel, especially when we read and heard so much about Barcelona. Room size is decent and we had good 6 nights sleep here.The housekeeping team can be more meticulous to raise a bar for the hotel overall

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. The room is spacious considering its location. Their queen bed is an actual queen size bed. The location is so close to some attractions and shopping. Our room was also very quiet. The service is outstanding and they offer stuff such as slippers

Exceptional location and staff. Place was clean and had a hot shower with plenty of flow. Great roof top terrace overlooking the city. Would have liked more pillows, a more comfortable bed and smart tv.

The room was spacious. The view of the city from our balcony was amazing. Unfortunately the shower was broken. The technician also had to fix our heater every night, and we had to ask for wash cloths. Axel at the front desk was wonderful and even accompanied the technician to help with translating.

The hotel is nice, the room we were in was also quite nice, and the restaurant has a great rooftop view of Barcelona. However when we arrived we were informed quite confidently that our room rate did not include breakfast. I had booked several months in advance through Aeroplan points and couldn’t remember if the booked rate included breakfast or not, so I assumed if they found my reservation on their system and it stated no breakfast then that must be the case. Also, when I checked out I was told that there was no record of a pre-payment (even though I had booked with points). I couldn’t leave until I paid my balance. Now at this point I thought there must definitely be something wrong. On my way to the airport I was able to dig up my email confirmation that confirmed that not only did my rate include breakfast but it was pre-paid! I forwarded that email to the hotel management and asked them to refund the double charge. They did, but did not offer anything for the fact that their staff erroneously made us buy our own breakfasts for the duration of our stay, thus inconveniencing us. To be fair, that incident isn’t enough to reduce the hotel’s star rating any further, and the hotel itself is quite nice. However their reservation systems and perhaps employee training/service need some work.

Hands down from the moment we walked in to leaving. We had smiling faces. Amazing views. The best rooftop. From the bell staff to waitresses to housekeeping everyone was so welcoming. We got the full tour and got to swim as well. The hotel has all the amenities that you need. Centrally located to shopping both high end and regular. You can walk to Basilica Sagrada Familia. The rooftop is my favorite.

Really nice hotel in passeig de Gracia. Walkable to all metro. Super easy to find taxis. Safe neighborhood. Walkable to vegan spots. Front desk folks super nice. Gave us welcome drinks for rooftop. Rooftop cute and hip with views of some gaudi architecture/buildings nearby. Got pineapple juices everyday. Had a cute living set up with nice views. Fridge and good working air conditioner, nice toiletries. Super comfortable and would def return. Nice modern hotel.

Unreliable wifi. Shower leaked everytime all over bathroom floor. Exorbitant breakfast prices, with no indication it wasn't complementary...a nice little surprise when you're hit with a massive bill upon checkout. Loud rooms, making it hard to sleep. On the plus side, it's in a great location. But not worth the pricetag for me.

A chic and stylish hotel on one of Barcelona's most emblematic streets, with a lovely lobby and best of all on the top floor they have an excellent terrace bar to enjoy the view of one of Gaudi's houses while sipping excellent cocktails. Service was nothing but top notch. Once outside the hotel you're on the beautiful and walkable Passeig de Gracia, and to top it off, a super short walk from my favourite Christian Louboutin store!

Booked and payed for 2 rooms for 3 people, a single and a double, but all 3 guests were put into one old, outdated room (as an afterthought in an attempt to get 3 people into one). This may have been the error of the travel agent, but when the hotel was made aware, they left 2 guests in the piecemeal room. Two twin beds were pushed into one, & the 2nd bed was a pullout couch. The bathroom was stained & outdated. The bed linens were not clean. I have never paid these prices for something that is equivalent of a budget motel in the U.S.

Had a great stay here before our cruise! Great location, right on the main shopping strip and really nice staff. It's a great little spot.

Stayed here back in March 2017. The whole experience of staying here was perfect. The front desk was very accommodating and willing to help whenever we needed it. My room was beautiful and very clean! Next time I come back to Barcelona I will definitely be staying here again!

Not good, not bad. Lost our reservation, took a long time to check in, mold in the bathroom, hair in the bathroom. However, ok location, they let us check in early, rooms OK but on the small side, shower very powerful, rooftop is pretty. Pool is very small. Overall, its fine but I would probably try elsewhere next time.

Infuriating experience. They didn't have our reserved rooms when we arrived which is ok. Things happen but the inhospitable unprofessional way they dealt with the situation is definitely not 4 star worthy. They essentially booked another older hotel in a less pleasant part of town without asking or warning us ahead of time and mostly had an attitude of "we did you a favor and already took your money to book a worse hotel, take it or go home".

We had an excellent experience at this beautiful hotel located on the chic and trendy Passeig de Gràcia. The room had a wonderful view of the gorgeous Casa Milla. There were finger touch rainfall type shower heads that felt like a spa. The restaurant had a lovely breakfast with a variety of cheeses, fruits, pastries in addition to eggs, sausage,bacon and a lot more. But best of all was the fantastic attitude of the staff. Our favorite person was this kind, knowledge and helpful gentlemen at the front desk named Jordi. We had an issue with our work reservation and personal reservation. He fixed it on his own without us even asking him. We simply loved our stay. Can't wait to go back.

Best location to visit, to do business, to shop, to enjoy best restaurants and night life in Barcelona. Staff and management very professional and caring. Best terrasse view, service, in town. Rooms very comfortable and price very reasonable for location. Thank's to all the staff from condes

Nice location, not too far from the pedestrian zones, nice rooms. Restaurant closed Mondays, which was disappointing. Nice roof top bar. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room
