Hotel Condestable

Hotel is quite dated and old fashioned but is extremely clean, from the public areas to the rooms. The bathroom was more than adequate and the shower was 10 out of 10. The staff are all great and friendly. The Seaview is what makes this hotel. Absolutely stunning. They could do with having bigger cups in the rooms though so you don't have to make 25 cups of tea each.

😊: Absolutely the best view and Location and the price is great value , it’s a 15 minute easy walk if you want the main beni strip , it is basic but very clean , staff are very friendly, a continental breakfast is available if wanted , coffee is great but there’s plenty of bar/cafes outside if you need the full Monty experience, we had the sea view room. Wow what a view we couldn’t have wanted better .. 😢: No car Parking nearby but only a 7 minute walk away in the mercado multi story. So no big issue. We Had to leave the wife’s mobility scooter outside the front of the building as no storage facilities but night staff on so no worries and yes it was still there in the morning 😁. It’s a dated building but exceptionally clean ..

The location and the view from the balcony is exceptional. However the hotel is family owned and therefor stuck in the 70s. The bathroom is basic. The shower is inc in the bath enclosed with an old rattly cubical with a sliding door. The main room is again very basic with a small tv with only Spanish stations available. During our 9 day stay the lift broke down twice which I have to say was concerning and an issue as my wife has a mobility problem. The staff consists of 2 brothers who own and run the place and a young girl who is on reception who we found a bit rude. In all this is the Spanish version of Faulty Towers they had there own Manual. 2 star rating is for yhe view

Just got back from Benidorm and stayed at the Condestable. Had a wondeful stay, the hotel was very and clean tidy. Room was small but it had everything you needed. The view was magnificent 👌 from the balcony!! Staff are very nice and friendly. Had a bit of noise but nothing major, the kind you expect to get, doors closing things like that. Would I stay there again 💯

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The owner was very friendly & always took the time to stop and chat. The bed was comfortable & great air con. The views from the balcony were amazing. Great location. Around the corner from Mojito bar & Sherry’s bar.

We will definitely come back here. The Hotel is small but has everything we want. There isn’t a pool but when you have the Mediterranean Sea on the doorstep you don’t need a pool. The staff are friendly and are happy to chat. We are on the top floor and the view is lovely. The room is basic but modern and absolutely spotless very. In fact the hotel is spotlessly clean. Towels and bedding are changed daily. It has a kettle and fridge and the bathroom is adequate and again very clean. The shower is amazing. The air conditioning is the best we have experienced in a hotel and slept perfectly every night. We love old town so this has been the perfect setting for us. We are already planning our booking for next year. If clean and basic is what you’re looking for then this is perfect. This hotel is a jewel and is better than some of the 4 star hotels we have stayed in.

For a 1 star hotel, this is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and smiling, the location is just ideal, 30 seconds walk from the beach, beautiful. The rooms are not well insulated so you can hear the occupants of the other rooms and the people passing by in the street, but you shouldn't complain for the price paid and the proximity to the beach. If you want quieter, just pay more at another hotel.
