Very good value for money. For less than 10 Euro you get a clean room with private bathroom, fan, TV, hot shower and a comfortable bed. When you check-in you must sign that you have understood that no visitors are allowed.

Im traveling with my partner and Medellin has pricey hotels, but this one is perfect for cheap travelers. It’s close to a metro station, it’s feels safe enough by day (always be careful at night like anywhere else), the room is simple but it’s got all you need: warm water, nice bed, TV, fan (no need for AC). The service is super good! The women at the desk are super friendly. There’s a restaurant right in the hotel and it’s super cheap and nice food! All in all, perfect place to stay cheap and right in the center.

Stayed here for quite a while in April of 2017. Room #406. I paid 36,000 pesos per night. Clean, insect free room. Private bath with walk-in shower that was missing a shower head. It was like standing under a hose but hey! There was plenty of hot water. Fan, small desk, flat screen TV (no English stations) window out to central area. Bed was less than comfortable. Time to think about new bedding in this place.||||Very quiet at night. No problems at all with that issue. Staff was excellent. Very accommodating and helpful. Some English spoken but being able to speak Spanish helps here. I had my laundry done here. Same day service cost me 8,000 pesos. Hotel is secure. No issues with anything in that regard. WIFI was adequate but not blazing. Front desk printed 3 documents for me gratis.||||Neighborhood is a commercial district. Lots of stores, traffic and noise which might be an issue if your room is on the street which mine was not so I heard NADA. For $14 a night I've done a lot worse in the past. If I roll through Medellin again then Conquistadores would be a no-brainer.

Clean and good hotel, comfortable room, great service (with a smile). Place oozes integrity to me. Family friendly. My room was in the back - nice and silent during the night. Beds are ok. The shower in my room didn’t have a shower-head (basically a faucet in the air). Not sure why this is - but not really an issue to me. Warm water was working every time I used it. No English (google translate might help). Good price / service ratio. In the safer part of El Centro. Everything in El Centro is around the corner. The metro is too and will bring you to all other interesting parts of town quickly and cheap. Didn’t use the restaurant (prefer street food - and there is some amazing street food to find in El Centro) - but the restaurant is busy and seems to be doing well. Re to a previous response: Laundry price ( for a small bag ) was 20k (same price as when I went to a nearby Laundry myself). I expected 30k based on previous review (which would have been ok to me). Do recommend.

Si tienes preguntas en español, déjame saber. ||||The hotel is located downtown which probably is a really dangerous place to stay. However, if you can always take an Uber its fine. The prices are amazing because is really cheap. The hotel offers to save your valuable objects, if needed. It has a restaurant and goodies shop that really cool when you want to go out. The food is amazing because is typical paisa food and te ladies who are in reception are so lovely. Don't select any room that has view to the streets because at night it becomes really loud.

Stayed for 4 nights and while it is true that the area which is the center of the city is not as inviting, the hotel itself and the staff are top notch and super nice. It is safe and quiet. You get free coffe in the morning. Adriana was soo nice she lent me her metro card to use during my whole stay. The other employee printed my check mig just in case. At night yes it is best to take a cab but the cost is so affordable that it is OK to spend a couple of bucks in cabs. During the day you can walk to the train station. Either Parque Berrio or San Antonio. The overall service and care is what makes this hotel top rated in many other websites. Now I know why and I can confirm that for a solo traveler on a budget this hotel will do. Thank you again for a wonderful stay in Medellin.

When I arrived at Hotel Conquistadores, I was very, very pleasantly surprised by my room. The street outside is very vibrant with vendors, restaurants, buses, etc. But with a room toward the back, this hotel was seriously one of the quietest I have ever stayed in. I had a private room with a private bath (real bath towel, too). Room was spacious and had a tv with cable (CNN International, which covers sports waaaaaay too much). The staff were very friendly and helpful, but not cloying. Room was very clean (kudos to the hard working staff - cleaning is a tough job). Wifi was excellent. Metro is about five minutes on foot. Conquistadores was very safe, too. I stayed a while, getting to know Medellin, which has earned its title as one of the most progressive cities in the world. I highly recommend this hotel. It's a great launching pad to get to know a great city and its people.
