Hotel Constanza

Perfectly fine place to stay. It is a two star, but still pretty fair. The room was clean and we didn’t have any issues. Slightly annoying that the lock on the bathroom didn’t work. But it’s quiet and we had no issue. The staff were very friendly. It is a great location. Just reflective that Barcelona is expensive due to high demand.

Overall it was a decent experience for the price - good location, clean rooms, balcony, however, during the four nights we stayed here people in the rooms next to us were playing loud and obnoxious music for HOURS and hours and past midnight. We did tell the front desk one night and the music continued. The walls are very thin and it was so difficult to sleep, made for some extra tired days on our trip/traveling which is a bummer.

Excellent location. If you are here in the summer, buy or bring a fan, rooms can get a little warm. Refrigerator is in a boxed area it gets extremely hot so don't expect to use it unless you leave the cubicle door open. Rooftop closes at 8pm....for whatever reason.

This hotel is amazing! Friendly, clean and welcoming, but quiet too. The best showers I’ve ever had in any hotel, including 5*. Really convenient for sight seeing around Barcelona, good for buses and metro but not too far to walk to places of interest either. Staff go above board to help with maps and information. There is a fridge in the room, and we had our own travel kettle, but the the cafe/restaurant next door is good too. Would certainly use again and highly recommend to family and friends too.

Excellent value for money in the heart of Barcelona. I had a single room for 3 nights. The room was small, modern, clean also had a fridge. The staff on reception were friendly and supportive with questions I asked. I would definitely come again to this hotel.

Great location. As some have noted, it’s scored as a 2 star hotel but feels like a 4 star. Granted limited amenities (no pool, on-site bar or restaurant, etc) but very clean, comfortable and we loved our balcony!

Love the location.  Lots of cafes around n walking distance to Casa Batllo n half an hour walk to Sagrada Família. Staff are friendly n willing to help. Happy to stay again.

I had very high hopes after reading the reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony on the 1st floor, but the cleaning ladies were slamming doors and making noise from 7-8 in the morning. Towels were not that clean, found black hairs on some of them. In our last evening we noticed they took away 3 of our towels without replacing them. One more thing that bothered us is that we noticed the toilet seat was dirty, so I think the cleaning is done in a very superficial way. So don’t believe the people that say it should be a 3 star hotel - it shouldn’t and it isn’t, expect a 2 star service.
