Hotel Contempo

The rooms may be a bit dated, but they are spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The inclusive breakfast offers a great variety of options. The service is exceptional! This hotel is a fantastic choice for a budget-friendly hotel stay in a central location.

First off , id like to thank the entire staff for making my stay extraordinary , without you , I'm not sure how my trip would have turned out. Due to friends flights that got canceled , and a bad SIM card i bought in the US , i was left solo and without basic cellphone service and my almost entire lack of the Spanish language. The staff at hotel Contempo went above and beyond to assist me and look out for me . They even arranged for their hotel driver , Adonis , to show me the sights of Managua. The generosity and hospitality i was shown is something I don't even get in my home country and i wont forget . Along with the amazing staff , i loved the room i stayed in . The rooms are large , comfortable bed and a nice seating area . The restaurant served some very delicious meals that i enjoyed , along with very fast and friendly service. Overall , it is a beautifully decorated hotel where you can enjoy nature right outside your door . Many days you could hear and see the different birds and on occasion , a monkey could be seen above in the trees. I would highly recommend hotel Contempo , not just for its beautiful layout and location , but for the caring staff . When i return to Nicaragua , i will definitely book again with them !!

Surprisingly nice hotel just outside of Managua. It looks like a converted old house, and the long lap pool and many gardens make it feel far away from a big city. There is an old but well stocked gym above the pool - the machines could use an upgrade as could some details around the hotel (e.g. maintenance of some walls). The suite we stayed in was huge with a very nice bed and big bathroom. Despite the size, not much space to hang things up and there was a bit of an odd smell. You have to keep the curtains drawn as the room looks into a public area (with an odd little whirlpool that looked a bit sad). Staff is very helpful and kind and breakfast was tasty. There are a few restaurants In a mall you can walk to about 5 minutes away and everything else is a 15 minute taxi ride into town.

Excellent service. Rooms were good. Food great. Event fun but the best were the people. All over we had great people and service.

This is a nice hotel. The staff is really nice too. Great breakfast, good dinner. We enjoy our stay very much. Rooms are good tho may need a bit of care here and there, but overall comfortable and we would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The hotel food was okay in fact we had breakfast there most days. We were there in August 2022 we didn't see many guests there over 4 days. My cons list is short. We were unable to get hand towels the entire time we were there. So, we had to shower with big mid-sized towels. No satellite channels with options for English speakers or options on the TV menu for English subtitles. The tub trim area had mold but after showing it to the cleaning staff a deep cleaning was done. You have to be very careful when taking a bath in the jacuzzi tub or you will slip and bust your butt. There is no separate shower in my suite.

It's ok...but not worth the money compared to other nicer hotels. When we took a shower the whole bathroom flooded.... The toilet didn't flush and there was mold all around the bath tub. They charge you extra per night for a service dog for what not sure when they didn't come to clean. Food was ok and the gentleman serving us was phenomonal. The front desk staff were cordial but nothing extraordinary. I will not be recommending unfortunately.
