Hotel Continental

Comfortable amenities for a good price! Does not disappoint every time I stay here. However could benefit from an overall upgrade for esthetic. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is actually the same staff from when I use to stay at the Continental (15-20 years ago). Definitely family oriented and friendly establishment.

Extremely happy with their attention and help. The room Super clean and when we needed something it was done right away. From extra pillows to a new TV, not hesitation, 5 minutes later, it was in our room. The breakfast is fantastic. Fresh fruits, breads, coffee, juices....goes on and on.

Very clean room, with daily change of fresh linens and towels. Hotel staff is excellent, professional, courteous, and friendly. They promptly provided a replacement fridge and extra pillows when requested. High quality buffet breakfast, with wide variety of choices. Ideal location in the center of the city, with easy access to the Malecón. This was my third visit, and the Continental is consistently excellent.

Good restaurant part of the hotel. Clean rooms, we had an excellent view of the Cathedral. Nice staff, the decent location. However, not enough restaurant close by and the street are somewhat dark at night. During the day it's safe or as safe a big foreign city can be.

Great place to walk to Guayaquil highlights including river front. Friendly and helpful staff. Went out and bought phone SIM card and umbrella for me at a very low cost. Excellent breakfast. Clean, basic single room. Very quiet.

This hotel has become our go-to when visiting Guayaquil (we live in Cuenca) The rooms and hallways are always clean, the restaurant is good and convenient, and the staff is very accommodating. Great mid century modern decor!

Very clean hotel with fast wifi. The breakfast is FANTASTIC with such a huge collection of dishes. The staff were friendly and had a good grasp of English. The complimentary welcome drinks were much appreciated too on a hot summers day.

7 yrs ago, I celebrated my mother's 80th birthday, everything was perfect, the food, the drinks, the Dj, everyone very professional. She had a good time. Now she's resting in peace.
