It's totally excellent. Prices are affordable, and the food and wine are good. There is good access to the mountains with beer and coffee available at the mountain hut we visited.

Awful hotel in a beautiful area. Our room was very grotty. The bathroom door wouldn't close because of a rise in the flooring. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. There were stains on the curtains. The tv didn't work properly and no aircon even though our booking stated there would be. Reception wasn't that interested in the issues and shrugged and said there isn't any aircon. They did however send maintenance to file down the flooring so the door could close. The room was stuffy and we couldn't open a window because the building opposite was having a very loud function that went on til 5am! We booked an evening meal and breakfast. Both were of poor standard. They were a buffet style but the food was bland and in my opinion not at a safe temperature. I would not return to this hotel and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Booked 4 nights, only stayed 2. First of all, surrounding nature is stunning. The room was clean and climatised. But that's about everything positive I can say - staff was friendly, but unorganised, understaffed and not interested in the hotel guests. They didn't even ask why we left early. - hotel facilities seem to have been built about 15 yrs ago, but apparently have not been well maintained or touched up since - exterior walls are cracked, paint comes off, humidity damage is clearly visible outside and inside - mouldy shower - cracked sink - broken floor and wooden wall panels - dirty carpet in the hallways - TV roughly from 2005 - unfinished and abandoned ruins on the hotel grounds without security, as well as lots of unsecured building materials and rubbish on the hotel grounds - breakfast lackluster, poor veggie and no vegan options (except for fruit) - dirty or not enough cutlery when a bit busier - breakfast hall interior breaking apart - historic buildings deteriorating All in all a beautiful setting with a great potential but currently in our opinion not comparable with other 4 star hotels and nobody seems to care enough to repair or even maintain the place. The Hotel felt very unpersonal and, to us, not really welcoming. We were very disappointed and can't recommend the Hotel in its current state.

Rooms need refurbishment. Restaurant food over priced and i am sorry to say.....diabolical. Awful. The spa was nothing special. Ok the outdoor pool had a great view but the indoor pool was nothing special. I didn't bother with the cold pools. My husband slipped badly in the steam room (floors way too slippy). Would have been nice if they'd added a jacuzzi. Staff in spa very nice. Wouldn't return to this hotel.

The hotel is beautifully surrounded by nature with mountains, small waterfalls and rivers, it's quiet and isolated and you can hear the rain. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious as well. However, as you're walking around the hotel, there are clearly many things that need fixing and cleaning (especially the carpets along the hotel corridors). The restaurant staff are immensely helpful, hardworking and joyful. The food needs heavy improvement. It's bulk food that wasn't appetizing, Also, very little options for vegetarians/vegans. I wasn't looking forward to my next meal at the hotel. The spa facilities are a JOKE. Do not bother coming here if you're coming specifically for the spa. The "thermal" pools are either lukewarm or cold water, I wash my hands in warmer water than what the pools were. Not relaxing at all. Also, because of COVID almost half of the facilities were closed, which is fair enough and there is no problem with that but none of that was shared with us before we made the booking! So here are the options we had: Freezing pool, cold pool, lukewarm pool, sauna and showers. And the staff didn't speak English either. If you want to come here to travel around the area or be close to nature, then great but don't bother with any of the hotel facilities.

I read a comment and I do agree with it. "This hotel looks amazing and once you get closer it gets worse and worse". Staff is really nice but there is a huge lack of management. Maintenance of this hotel does not exist and staff is overwhelmed. Room was nice but the bed was bought about 10Y ago at least.... Its a pity to see a hotel which could be the best of the pyrenees in this state... In any case, the location deserves one more try. Landscape is amazing surrounded by 9 peaks above 3.000m!!!

A very bad experience. The planned New Year's Eve dinner is like pig food, the mussels are still smelly, and the management is chaotic. The so-called hot springs are messy as a whole. Except for the reception at the door, you can no longer see the waiters. The temperature in the hot springs will make you catch a cold. The toilet paper used in a four-star hotel is as thin as a cicada's wing, not as good as a supermarket toilet. I don't want to come to the hotel for the second time.

The location is beautiful. The Hotel staff is cold and not very welcoming. We asked for a double bed and got two twin beds put together. Do not under any circumstances get the meal included as we did with a weekenddesk offer! We were promised a meal with an appetizer, main and dessert and ended up with a really bad buffet with cold and reheated food. A real rip-off for what we paid. The hotel needs updating as it looks old and unkempt, stains on carpet in the hallways, bathroom has shoddy repairs (not a 4 star hotel at all!) Breakfast is good, but that is it. Better to stay at Panticosa and come up for the hiking and "balneario". But not recommended especially for the price and poor service from the staff. In addition there are two buildings and if you end up on the second building as we did, you have a hike to get back and forth to restaurants, breakfast etc. If you stay in Panticosa you will have a selection of restaurants, rather than being held captive by them since they own everything up there. It is a shame since usually you can eat very well in Spain. Not here! Kind of suspect when most of the good reviews are given by "local Guides" .....
