Double Booking Trouble
I booked this hotel through Agoda, but a duplicate booking occurred. There was no prior confirmation regarding the overlap, and I was not informed of it during check-in. As a result, I was charged for two rooms, even though I was only ever shown to and stayed in one room.
While it was partly my fault for not checking carefully, the hotel refused to acknowledge their negligence in failing to inform me of the duplication. They showed no willingness to compromise, despite charging a guest for a room they never used. They simply dismissed the issue by saying, "Duplicate bookings are common."
I had sent inquiries before checking in, but I received no reply or even a basic greeting. If they had any intention of communicating with guests in good faith, they had plenty of opportunities to notice the duplicate booking and alert me.
They did nothing but hide behind their "policy," showing no desire to help a guest who made a simple mistake. I felt that this hotel not only lacks hospitality but is actually inhumane, as they only care about short-term profit—even if it means remaining silent while a guest suffers a loss.
I recommend keeping this in mind if you are considering staying here.
