Quite a disappointing stay. Not bad but not good either. It’s a decent place if you’re planning on exploring the South of the island, but the service was bad enough we stayed out of the premises as much as possible. The hotel and restaurant are understaffed and the service is inconsistent and unprofessional for the most part. We went to several restaurants on the island and this was without a doubt the worst (ingredients missing and undercooked, whole dishes ordered not served, long wait times, nice but overwhelmed staff, stained glasses with prices stickers still on them, …). Would not recommend if you’re planning on going there enjoy the premises.

Very kind, helpful, cheerful owners and staff went beyond at every request. Made to feel very at home. Most staff speak english. Owners gave great advice on touring. Spectacular open-air dining area, catches the Caribbean breezes as well as sounds of birds and tropical nights. VIEWS of Diamant and western end of Island are breathtaking. Quality european breakfast buffet. Quality Dinner menu. Ideal location to visit south of Island : charming local beaches a few minutes walk in either direction, but best heading east : go for a long walk from one beach to the next... Need a car, but ½ way between Diamant beaches or St. Anne Salines. Truly relaxing, naturally and authentically beautiful grounds. Lovely pool and poolside lounging (although we only swam in Caribbean.

This was our second stay at Le Corail. Thus obviously we had a positive experience during our first stay. Our second stay was just as nice if not even a bit better. The rooms are clean and in very good condition. The kitchenette is reasonably well equipped. Most rooms, including ours, have gorgeous views of the bay and the Diamond Rock. The pool is very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a relaxing place to stay.||||Having a restaurant on site is a bonus. They also serve breakfast.||||Would we return? Yes.||||Would we recommend to friends? Yes.

I have to admit the standard on Martinique is garbage, food is crap, hotel lobby is alive with cockroaches running around, pool is not clean, surface is full of an oily substance. The restaurant is only open at rare hours, drinks is 10 euros haha. ||||I have no idea how this hotel has 4,5 stars in Google, makes no sense. Very expensive room as well. ||||The only good thing is the room is okay. But everything is old fashioned.||||And the biggest issue, why can’t you Frenchmen talk English. None of them understand anything you say, and they just respond in French. ||||They claim they have wifi. Trust me, they don’t. It hasn’t worked for one second since we been here, and you can’t even use your 4G because it don’t work out here haha. ||||Just terrible.

It's more of a motel with a good restaurant. Or a restaurant with rooms of bad quality. Anyway, the focus of the management is apparently on the restaurant not on the hotel clients and their needs. Almost everything in the inventory doesn't work properly or is broken or defective. A glass was missing in the bathroom's window, it was raining into the room, the reception only stuck a piece of cardboard on it, ridiculous! The power sockets are so loose that the cover falls off when you remove your plugged cable, all the stair lights don't work, e.g. with a small child you have to walk the stairwell up to the bedroom completely in the dark, the kettle is dangerously defective, the automatic switch-off doesn't work and it keeps getting hotter and hotter, even if the switch is on the step "0" (!). There is a telephone but it also doesn't work, of course. The WiFi-range quality is too bad, that you don’t have WiFi on your room, maybe only in areas close to the reception?! The drying rack is broken in several places. The toilet flush was broken, the drain plugs of the shower and bathroom sink were broken. The air conditioning fan blades are defective and do not rotate as desired. Perhaps not every room is of such bad quality, but the general look and feel of the building suggests that not only our room is so poorly equipped.
But the most annoying thing is the really challenging and disturbing noises. The restaurant and the pool area are incredibly noisy and some days the restaurant guests drink and party yelling and shouting for hours! At midnight, hotel guests jump into the pool, scream incredibly loudly, and listen to music from speakers, often even till 2:00 a.m. or very very early in the morning. The reception is only available from 7am - 9pm. What if there is a massive disturbance and squarrel at midnight? Nobody cares! The housekeeping comes only every 3 days and the hotel guest is still supposed to empty the trash cans at checkout day. What kind of “hotel” is that?! If you want a relaxing holiday with lots of recreation, please book another hotel. The location (Anse Mabouya) isn't really interesting either. Only ok if you have a car, otherwise not much going on.

Use restaurant address to navigate. Good swimming pool, great views, very close to a beach. Hotel gives beach towels. Breakfast is good, but relatively expensive. Full kitchen allows to cook any meal in the room. The beds are very simple and a few light bulbs were missing. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice! Five bulldogs of the hotel owner add to the flavor.

Recently spent 5 nights here with a friend who was returning to Martinique for the first time in 3 years after living here for 6 months. We picked this place because of the reviews and location being central to most of the island. We were not disappointed and my friend said he will stay here in a year on his honeymoon. The views are to die for, sunsets over diamond rock are amazing. the grounds and rooms are well maintained and an easy walk to a great beach. The highlight is certainly how the proprietors make you feel at home catering to ever need you have. Was really nice to have them speak English as well. Little thing like taking the time to show us where to snorkel on a map and providing free snorkel gear is just one example of the high level of service they provide. I would never stay or recommend anywhere else on Martinique.

We stayed in February of 2019 and would stay over and over again. It's not a fancy place but it feels like home away from home. Julie, the owner, brings her French bulldogs to work every day and my two kids loved to run up to the lobby and pet the dogs first thing in the morning. The beautiful birds fly around as you sit in your outdoor (but covered) kitchen. The view of the sea is beautiful and the beach is a quick walk down a pretty path. The beach was my favorite of all the ones we visited with delicate little pink shells that wash up on the shore. We loved it there! Both Julie and Bryce were extremely welcoming and helpful and kind. We arrived late at night with two small kids who were tired and hungry and Bryce went out of his way to bring us a beautiful bowl of fruit for the kids to have a snack before bed. But the best part- my 3 year old was devastated when he lost his favorite stuffed animal. We searched the entire room and were sure that it must have gotten bundled up in the sheets and taken to the laundry when our room was cleaned. Julie searched through bags and bags of laundry to try and find it for my little guy. We appreciated it so much that she took the time to look but she didn't find it. Well, a month later guess what showed up in the mail along with some sweet treats for my kids?? Yes, my son's favorite little toy. Julie kept looking after we left and found it for him. We will never forget that. Thank you for everything Julie!! :)
