Hotel Cordia Osaka

During our three night stay in Osaka we stayed at the Hotel Cordia Osaka. The location felt like it was more in the business district area but the hotel rooms were good, clean and well appointed with a TV, fridge, room safe, toiletries, slippers etc. The staff on the front desk were welcoming, helpful and friendly, and the main server in the breakfast room/restaurant was always very helpful and friendly too. The hotel was well priced and not too far from a train line either and within walking distance to some good restaurants and bars as well as the bus to Osaka Palace. I would recommend the Hotel Cordia Osaka for a more budget friendly stay.

Good location : not to far from shopping area and here so quiet and not crowded. Very clean : here was highly recommended for high hygiene in agoda and it's true. Convenient for travel : about 50 step far from exit of Higobashi station and about 350m far from Yodoyabashi station and have elevator here. Surrounded by good restaurants : most of restaurants nearly the hotel get 4 star from google map example okonomiyaki opposite side very yummy 😋. Comfortable for bed : the bed very soft and not hurt my back and made my rest to be quality. And have convenience store nearly : about 10m far from Lawson and about 250m far from 7-11. Hotel Cordia Osaka is the best choice for me when stay in Osaka.

We booked last minute so could only get a king sized bed which was more than enough space for two to share. The room was definitely more spacious compared to Tokyo hotel rooms. Plenty of space to put stuff and store our luggage cases. Loved that there was a space at the door to sit down and take off shoes as well as a small space to hang coats/jackets. It definitely felt like home away from home. The rainfall shower with body sprays had to be my favorite feature of the bathroom (honorable mention for the bidet). There was a Lawson (has a smoking room too) across the street but we much preferred the stuff at 711 which was a few blocks away. Staff were super helpful in shipping our luggage to our next hotel! There's also complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. There was a laundry room with 2 washing/drying machines which we had to use as there were no nearby laundromats with the heavy duty dryers. So after 2 hours of drying, our clothes were still a bit damp...we ended up having to hang our clothes around the room to dry. The laundry room also has a smoking room so it wasn't that great to have to breath in secondhand smoke while waiting for laundry to be done.

This is my second time staying at this amazing location and the service/location are almost unbeatable in inner city Osaka - you’re literally 2 mins from a station that can get you almost anywhere you need. The staff is phenomenal. The breakfast is served in the mornings at this location is insane. It’s one of the most delicious breakfast I’ve had and overall it’s just a fantastic location to be when you are looking to stay in Osaka for any long-term trip.

Excellent hotel in very good location (next to metro stop) in the heart of Osaka. Very modern, and actually big rooms given its Japan. Nice shower and room amenities.

Great value for money. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Hotel is located next to Yotsubashi Line or in walking distance to Midosuji line. From there you can easily explore whole Osaka.

Very good location for us, next to the peaceful mid island, 15 minutes walk to Umeda shopping area and JR station. The room is clean. The shower room is spacious, Which is very rare for small Janpanese hotel. 11am checkout time is also nice.

After 6 days traveling a bit around Japan, we decided to splurge on a nice hotel before a long flight back to the USA. Turns out we didn't need to splurge much, as Hotel Cordia was reasonably priced. But the rooms were amazing! All our other rooms in Japan were tiny compared to this one, where we could stretch out. The shower room was one of the best I've ever had, with an overhead waterfall as well as side streams. There was a great coffeemaker in the lobby for free, so we were drinking lattes every time we left the hotel. Beds were like a cloud... comfortable in the USA but in Japan where most beds are hard it was AMAZING! Really nothing bad to say about this property, except perhaps they could use a seating area in the lobby.

i used to live im this area so when i was back for a visit, i was reminded of the olden days... the hotel is in a awesome location, close to the station, a quick walk to umeda... the hotel is simple and modern. i loved my room and bathroom was fabulous. the rain shower was heavenly. for the price, u cant go wrong. ill be back to stay here again. the staff was very accommodating as well. loved my stay!
